Home description

The cottage is in a beautiful little Spanish village, with views overlooking the immense Almond plantations to one aspect and the rugged mountains to the other.

The village is situated 10 mins from Chirivel, 10 mins from Oria, and only 5 mins from Los Cerricos. In the unlikely event of you needing medical or verterinary assistance, there is a Transalator available should you need the services !

The Costa de Almeria region

The cortijo is 10 minutes drive away from our nearest pueblo of Oria with supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Our nearest town of Albox is 25 minutes away.

Granada is just over 11/2 hours away where you can visit The Alhambra Palace, or in the winter ski in the Sierra Nevadas.

Baza lakes are an hour away, which has fishing,and restaurants nearby.

Oria / El Margen area

Nearer to home there are numerous weekly markets dotted around and an abundance of Fiestas at various times, including our own in August. We stay near by, so when you visit, there will always be someone there to assist you, and advise you of places of interest.

All major car hire firms are represented, however, check with your flight company as they usually have good deals arranged with the car hire companies for their customers.

We assume that 4 persons means 2 adults in each bedroom, however if required a single bed may be provided at a cost of 20 Euros per stay, per bedroom.

Dogs welcome with prior arrangement

£50 non-returnable deposit per week payable at time of booking to make your reservation. booking will not be reserved untill deposit has been received.

The balance is payable in full 6 weeks before your holiday starts, plus a refundable £100 bond, which will be returned on vacating the cottage at the end of your holiday, less any charge for excessive cleaning, loss, breakage or damage.

We accept payment by cheque or bank transfer in GBP or Euros.
