The apartment has sea views and and is just 500 meters from the beach. 5km away from Talamone are the beautiful beach of Osa and Santo Stefano. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets and a bank are available in the village.
Talamone is located in the heart of the 'Maremma' Park in Tuscany and at the bottom of the 'Uccellina' Mountains . It is a medieval village springing from a rocky headland, equipped with a touristic harbour that provides access to the major Tuscan islands (Giglio, Giannutri, Elba).

The Tuscany region
The Tuscany is famous for its art, its history, its great artists and their works, the landscape, the hills, and the sea. The Tuscany countryside is well know for its nature, hills, fields, farms, medieval villages, castles and historical buildings. The Tuscany costs has sandy beaches such those of Versilia and Costa degli Etruschi and rocky capes in Piombino and Argentario. Areas of unspoiled nature are the beautiful islands of the Archipelago.
With a 40 minutes car ride from Talamone, it is also possible to reach the Thermal Baths of Saturnia, a charming and fascinating thermal centre located at the bottom of the medieval village of Saturnia and surrounded by a secular park, typical of the Maremman area. The alternative to the Thermal Centre are the 'Mulino Falls' (free access), located 2 kilometers away from the village of Saturnia and characterized by a series of naturals pools dug into the rocks. Moreover, 10 minutes away from Talamone are the Thermal Baths of L'Osa. Major touristy destinations within a short distance from Talamone are: Capalbio (35km), Manciano (40km), Scansano (35k).
Orbetello / Talamone area
Talamone lays in the heart of the 'Maremma' Park in Tuscany and at the bottom of the 'Uccellina' Mountains. It is a medieval village with stunning rocky headlands and a touristic harbour providing access to the major Tuscan islands.
The coast offers a great variety of bays of remarkable beauty from a naturalistic point of view. The sea bottom is rocky as well, which makes it very suitable for snorkeling and scuba diving. The beach that is located right at the bottom of the fortress is a real gem; after parking the car, it is possible to walk down the natural path and reach the so-called 'Bagno delle Donne'. The beach that coasts the street leading to Talamone (in front of the bay) is the ideal spot for all sailing, windsurfing and kite-surfing lovers.
Other beautiful beaches are located on the other side of the bay, e.g. 'L'Osa', 'La Giannella', and 'La Feniglia'. Few kilometers away from Talamone it stands the 'Promontorio dell'Argentario' where the two famous touristic locations of 'Porto Ercole' and 'Porto Santo Stefano' are located. From here you can reach the surrounding islands of Giglio, Giannutri and Formiche. Within a short distance from Talamone it is possible to visit a few archeological sites, such as the Etruscan Temple of Talamonaccio, the Roman Cistern and the City of Cosa in Ansedonia.
