An apartment which offers a romantic getaway for two in one of the most stunning locations in Europe, the Boka Kotorska Fjord, excellent fjord and mountain views, and only five minutes walk away from village centre, shops, restaurants and beach.

Benefiting from a south facing aspect, the property catches the sun all day. It is situated in a quiet desirable location.

This individually designed and finished to high standard with air-conditioning and tinted panoramic patio doors opening onto a private balcony and vine-covered terrace.

It has spacious living areas with plenty of natural light, a fully fitted kitchen, contemporary bathroom with quality fittings, wooden and ceramic flooring, and architectural ceilings.

Hello from Chris and Joy,We are both British but are at present working in Germany,we are well travelled and have learnt to appreciate different cultures.
Hotel based holidays are not always our cup of tea,we like to organise our day around our requirements and not an hotels domestic arrangements.Although we like to people watch we also want to escape the crowds.
Our main activities are walking,scuba diving,sailing cycling,dining out,and we are always fascinated by local flora and fauna.I am a keen fisherman and photographer,Joy is keen on keep fit ,reading and shopping(often for shoes!)

Orohavac From the Sea

The Coastal Montenegro / Boka Kotorska Fjord region

Montenegro is a stunning country of massive mountains and silent lakes, with a superb coastline of beaches and bays a real unspoilt hidden gem it used to be the playground of the rich and famous but now catres for the more discerning visitor. The most beautiful area is the Boka Kotorska, Europe’s largest inland fjord, fringed by historic villages of old Venetian stone houses, and flanked by soaring mountains.

From Orahovac day excursions can be undertaken to a range of stunning locations and national parks. These include the world famous peninsula Sveti Stefan, the birdwatchers paradise of Lake Skadar, and the ancient walled city of Dubrovnik . Alternatively you may choose to stay local and enjoy a Boka Bay cruise to the Island of Flowers.Stroll around the local area,walk Kotor's spectacular Venetian walls or energetically scamble up the local mountains.
With its café culture, friendly people, ancient towns and mountain vistas, Montenegro offers an unspoilt holiday destination with a tempting combination.

The Orahovac area

Orahovac is a picturesque fishing village situated in a small hamlet on the Bay of Kotor between the World Heritage town of Kotor and the venetian village of Perast. Orahovac has a lovely long south facing white pebble beach and benefits from the cleanest water in the fjord. Just a short walk away The Stari Mlini (Old Mill) restaurant can be found prettily situated on the water’s edge, where the food is at least as good as the setting, with wonderful, fresh local fish and meat dishes, bread and wine.

Orahovac is also perfectly situated for relaxing,walking or exploring around the coastline,beaches,mountains and ancient towns and cities of this region: Kotor, Budva, and Herceg Novi. A regular local bus service operates on the main road from by the village shop between Kotor and Risan with connections to Herceg Novi.

Dubrovnik airport is about 20 km west of Herceg Novi, approximately 90 minutes scenic drive.

Situated an easy 20 minutes traveling from Tivat airport.
Also a one and a half hours scenic drive from either Dubrovnik or Prodgorica airports.
Airport transfers arranged at small extra cost.
Drive there down the Trans Adriatic motorway via Croatia or cross by ferry from Italy .Please ask our advice if you intend driving to Montenegro its worth the trip!
Choice of local buses or taxis to Kotor.
We can arrange car hire involving being picked up and dropped off at Dubrovnik,Tivat or Prodgorica airports.

“Great place to relax and unwind.” Modern apartment in great position, good views and quiet location, close to village and local beach. A short car ride from Kotor and it's UNESCO walls and old stone town. Well appointed, nicely furnished open plan living area, air conditioned, south facing terrace with sea and mountain views.
