The Costa Verde region
The Northwest of Portugal is referred to as the country's green heart. This is where Portugal was born and its history can be seen and felt wherever you go. Oporto / Vila Nova de Gaia area

A visit to the wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia and a tour of the famous Port wine caves, including wine tasting are not to be missed.
