"The Perfect Place to Party!!!"
In January this year to celebrate my 40th birthday we booked a long weekend at the Ongar Bell with the help of the owners, Yvonne and Keith, as a surprise treat for my family and friends. It really was a weekend to remember. The venue and it's surrounding location are fantastic. Facilities for eating in are great - the 'dumb waiter' a great additional feature delivering our local indian takeaway to the table nicely! Rooms were very clean and decorated to a high standard and the only arguments were over which one of the six bedrooms everyone wanted! The bar and games room couldn't be more fun - and playing landlady and landlord for a short while - an unforgettable experience. The whole package from booking to sadly having to leave was without fault and I won't have to be convinced to return in the near future for a repeat memory maker - maybe my 41st?!
