There is a shower room in between with two doors so acts as an en suite for the double room

The Andalucia region

Olvera is a vibrant village of 10,000 inhabitants with lots of tapas bars and restaurants to eat out well from morning to night. The scenery is stunning with the cathedral and castle set on high - both you can visit. In easy reach of the lakes at Zahara, Ronda and other pretty villages such as El Gastor, Algodonales , Torre and Setenil there are much to see and do . Perfect for cycling and walkers not to mention paragliding. Friendly welcoming locals, fabulous gastronomy if only a cold beer sitting in the shade marvelling at the scenery. You will love this place!

"Nice place - pity about the cold showers."

A nice house in a working town in Andalucia. Despite this being a very pretty little place, dominated by the church and castillo at the top of the town, this is not a holiday town, so don't expec… More

I do my upmost to ensure guests have an enjoyable problem free stay. I don't mind when guests arrive and know delays happen.
Firstly I find this review extremely unfair. I am always there or a representative to meet guests. I will come and find you and take you to the property if easier. On this occasion the guests had lost their bag at Malaga airport and did not arrive until after 10.30pm. We had been waiting for the guests and were compassionate about this but my 2 year old son got so tired and having expected them at 8.30 that at 10.30 we left the key with the neighbour having already given good directions and they would look out for the guests. We live 20 minutes away and my son needed his bed. So that is a little unfair. I guided them by text to the property and they texted me to say " we are well settled in your lovely apartment. Talk tomorrow" Thankfully I had left a welcome pack and in addition two pizzas so after a stressful start they could just have a bit to eat and go to bed. I then found the number for their bank in Australia to cancel their bank cards and the number of the Australian Embassy. The internet was down the next day but this was reset straight away and worked. The cable plugs in to a laptop. There was not a modem but no one had ever asked for one. This did not work for the clients device so he said he would pick one up the next day. I gave them details of shops that sell computer bits.
As for the shower. The plumber came straight away and the boiler started working. Unfortunately 2 days later it did the same thing. The plumber returned when we were told the clients would be in but could not gain access. When he came to look at it the next day it needed to have the block replaced so we never got chance to repair it in time before they left but it was not for want of trying. To avoid any issue a brand new automatic boiler has been installed. Thankfully the water was coming out of the tap very tepid due to the hot weather but I apologised for the inconvenience. Everyone has a right to complain but this review all came about because I did not buy his modem. The house does now have one however. These guests showed little respect for the property and when entering with the plumber to find they had left no less than 5 lights on when having left the property on a sunny Saturday morning is no good for the environment nor the owner when it comes to paying a high electric bill. As for the comment about brits not washing every day well not very nice and a bit rich really. Considering the house was immaculate as always on entry, the cleaner on their departure has never seen the rug so filthy and even the bin left packed with days old rubbish on leaving which most people find easy enough to drop outside the door for daily collection especially in summer so even prior to the review we would not be accepting further bookings from these clients as if guests cause increased cleaning and electricity costs this means we have to raise the rates to cover the costs and this affects our other more responsible guests.

"very comfortable"

very nice house, easy to park your car, beautiful balcony/roof, especially for breakfast or relaxing in the sun. The house is very well equipped, so the stay was very comfortable.… More
