BougainVilla has 4 spacious bedrooms with New quality beds and plenty of storage space. All the furnishings are brand new, high quality with a very Turkish style.
The ground floor is open plan; lounge area has plenty of space to sit and relax, read, watch t.v and in the winter season enjoy the log fire.
The large kitchen has everything you need including ; a dining area for 4; a large fridge freezer so you can stock up with drinks and a free standing cold drinking water dispenser which only costs 4 lira (£1.60) to replace and is delivered free. All the floors are tiled with a marble staircase.
All 4 bedrooms and the lounge area have remote control air condition units. There are also 4 balconies. The patio doors of the kitchen and lounge take you to a large terrace overlooking the pool with 2 dining tables and 8 chairs plus a built in BBQ. From here you can watch the sun go down as you have your evening meal and to the South you may see RHODES island.

BougainVilla is on quiet private elevated corner plot with magnificent views all round having only 1 adjacent villa and 1 behind. No getting up early to claim you sunbeds here as there are 8 cushioned sun loungers with 4 tables, 4 parasol and plenty of space all around the pool. The swimming pool has no shallow end but it does have wide corner steps for easy access.
The 512 m2 plot has a beautifully landscaped garden with flowers, young fruit trees, seasonal vegetables (do help yourself) and is enclosed by a stone wall as well as a private gate.where there is parking for a car if you decide to hireone.
As night falls switch on the pretty garden lanterns and light up the pool for a midnight swim ! As you relax with your drink on the terrace you can see in the valley the lights of Ovacik village and Hisaronu as the restaurants, bars and dance clubs come alive.

For bookings of 14 days or more we provide Free Airport Transfer to and from your Villa. For bookings less than 14 days we provide Free Airport Transfer to your Villa only. We can arrange the return transfer for you if you wish.

DEPOSIT ARRANGEMENTS.
We ask for a 30% non-refundable booking deposit with balance due 8 weeks prior to holiday.
Payment to be made by bank transfer or cheque in sterling,.
Bookings are for a minimum of 7 days, dates can be flexible.
A fully REFUNDABLE security deposit of £200,00 to cover breakages or damage is required with balance payment.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
One of the most sort after Mediterranean coastal regions, surrounded by the Taurus and Babadag mountains and lush pine trees. If you come In Winter the top of the mountains are covered in snow which slowly melts through Spring disappearing towards the end of May. The warm sea is turquoise blue and the magnificent and famous Blue Lagoon at Oludeniz is only 10 minutes away by dolmus ( local bus) and is described as the most beautiful beach in Turkey.
Turkey has more classical ruins than Italy or Greece and you will see many in this region especially if you walk the Lycian Way. Follow in the footsteps of Alexander the Great on this long distance walking trail which starts in Fethiye and stretches around the coast and mountain for 509 km and ends in Antalya. Just an example of this areas wealth of History
The Olu Deniz area
Bougainvilla is a seven minute downhill stroll away to the village of Ovacik and the Dolmus (local mini bus) which will take you to Olu Deniz resort with the beach, bars and restaurant and to the famous Blue Lagoon.
Keep on walking and you arrive in lively Hisaronu which offers you a variety of shops, restaurants and good night life. Ovacik is far quieter offering more authentic Turkish restaurants and an aqua park.
The Dolmus bus offers a fantastic service: its cheap and runs every few minutes in the high season. It runs from Olu Deniz through Hisaronu, Ovacik and takes you to the big bustling harbour town of Fethiye. Do visit the fish market, the old town bazaar and the harbour. Also a place for the shoppers---- designer ware shops and the Tuesday market is a must.
Try to fit some of the following in as well;

Gulet boat trips ( highly recommended)
Horse Riding ( camel riding in Kaya )
Fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving, white water rapid riding, jeep safari quad bike safari to name but a few.

Our first time in Turkey, wow we were so glad we chose this villa. Met at the airport by taxi taken straight to the door of the villa, very easy and painless. We found Aaron the pool maintanence guy a font of knowledge within the area. Try and make some of the trips we went with carole and teyfun really really good. |

The main aim of our all too short holiday (1 week) was to relax, enjoy the sun, swim (pool and sea) and perhaps take in some of the local history. Friends had recommended the Fethiye area of Turkey which is where we concentrated our search for a villa with private pool in peaceful and quiet location, but easy access to shops and restaurants and near the coast. This was our first time in Turkey and a last minute decision, so choice of villas in the region was fairly limited. How lucky we were to find Bougain Villa available for our chosen week was not fully realised until we arrived. It is situated on the west facing slopes of the valley in which the villages of Ovacik/Hisaronu are situated - what Google map shows as Oludeniz (which is infact a small separate village about 2km away on the coast). The villa has wonderful views to the front of the valley and the many mountain ridges beyond, with stuning sunsets. Behind are the dramatic slopes of Mendos and Babadag (from which hang-glidders launch themselves throughout the day). So the location is quiet, but it is only a short walk down to the shops and restaurants - of which there are many. The walk back is a little more tiring and we were quietly grateful for the hire car, although I am told taxis are cheap and plentiful. The villa is modern and has clearly been built to a high spec, is well equiped and very comfortable. It is set in a colourful and well stocked garden and has an excelent pool. A week is too short to do any justice to site seeing, but we did fit in trips to the delighful Med resort of Kalkan and the fabulous sandy beach of nearby Panata, the somewhat exotic harbour of Gocek and the markets of Fethiye - the main town of the region. We also discovered the wonderfully secluded bay of Yaniklar which is clearly a local Turkish retreat and not overwhelmed with Brits. But there is much more to do and see and a return trip seems very likely and it would certainly be to Bougain Villa. |

This was the first visit to Turkey for most of our family and it was one of the best holidays we have ever had.
The villa is gorgeous, position is excellent and there are so many activities which would cost a small fortune in the U.K. but are affordable in Turkey. We usually hire cars on our family holidays but we didn't need to here, we had groceries delivered, taxi service and were colected for all our excursions. The area around the villa is peaceful and has beautiful views. We have lots of happy memories of this holiday, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts as our eldest son proposed to his girlfriend by the lovely swimming pool...... she said 'yes'.
