About the home

This Luxury duplex 3 doubled bedroomed apartment has everything you need in order to enjoy your holiday. The lounge area is air conditioned with luxurious furnishing, satelite television and DVD player, door leads onto a balcony overlooking the pool. The kitchen is fully fitted with all mod cons and has a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, gas oven/hob and microwave oven. From the kitchen/lounge is a large terrace area with table and six chairs. This is a cool area which attracts a cool mountain breeze during the hot summer months

The apartment comprises of three large double bedrooms and three bathrooms, one of which is en-suite -so no waiting around for your shower ! the upper level master bedroom has a double bed with bathroom and its own balcony. There are two further bedrooms with bathrooms and balcony. All bedrooms are air conditioned and all bathrooms are fully tiled.

A one minute walk takes you to the dolmus (small bus) which runs regularly to Fethiye and Hisaronu/Olu Deniz. Other wise it is a pleasant 5 minutes walk into the main Hisaronu town.
So best of both worlds, relaxing around the pool during the day and the nightlife of Hisaronu within walking distance. Alternatively within easy distance of Olu Deniz and the Blue Lagoon or the bustling town of Fethiye. .

There are balconies for you to sit on with tables and chairs, overlooking the pool area or the mountains. Sunbeds and parasols are also provided for your enjoyment, So why not just sit back and relax.
There is a large communal pool with children's pool so everyone can have fun.

All linen and towels are provided but not beach towels - please bring your own. For guests enjoying a two week or more holiday a weekly bed linen and towel change is provided, a full clean can be undertaken if required at an extra cost.

A 25% deposit is required on booking, the balance is due 8 weeks prior to the holiday.(full details on booking contract)

A £200 breakage deposit is required when balance is due, to be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure
( subject to satisfactory property inspection ).

Smoking allowed outside only please.
Pool and garden cleaned daily.

All guests must have adequate travel insurance.
A 25% deposit is required on booking, which is non refundable, the balance is due 6 weeks prior to the holiday.
A £200 breakage deposit is required when balance is due, to be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure
( subject to satisfactory property inspection ).
Arrival time from 3pm, departure time 10am. If the apartment is unoccupied on your arrival date, you may arrive earlier. Also if no one is due to arrive on your departure date you may stay on until later if possible, we try to be flexible.
Minor breakages such as a glass or plate etc can be replaced locally, if you would leave a few lira to cover the cost that will be appreciated.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Ovacik a sleepy village in the mountains, Hisaronu is now one of Turkey's top holiday destinations! Close to Olu Deniz the resort is largely unspoilt and surrounded by breathtaking beauty, with stunning mountain backdrops and pine clad forests, Hisaronu has an irresistible charm all of its own. With its many shops, bars and restaurants offering culinary delights, both Turkish and International cuisine, as well as its bustling weekly market which sells just about everything, the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming. Strict conservation ensures buildings are kept to a 2 storey maximum, so no high-rise here!

Formerly known as ANATOLIA and regarded as the 'cradle of civilisation' Turkey is a land of treasures with one of the most beautiful coastlines in the Mediterranean. A country offering an exotic blend of culture, traditions and renowned hospitality, coupled with miles and miles of sandy beaches, a fabulous climate, spectacular mountain ranges, ancient sites, hidden gorges and exciting cosmopolitan cities. Geographically diverse with snow-capped mountains in the east, lush green valleys and rich fertile agricultural lands in the west with a temperate climate in the north, the southern coast of Turkey is hot and dry with the spectaular Taurus mountain range stretching the length from Olu Deniz to Adana.

Olu Deniz: One of Turkey's most famous and photographed beaches, with crystal clear turquoise waters and gentle lapping waves, where the line between the sea and sky blends into one. Mother Nature's finishing touch was to surround this 'heaven on earth' with a spectacular mountain and pine forest backdrop. At the far end of the beach you will find the 'lagoon' set inside a national park area. Not visible from the open sea the lagoon is very sheltered with still, warm waters, absolutely perfect for those looking for a bit of escapism! Further along from Olu Deniz is another beach called 'Kidrak', quiet and secluded with a woodland area perfect for picnics.

Summer temperatures average 30 - 40 c with a winter average of 15 c. Rainfall is mainly during the months from December to February. The village of Hisaronu is located on a plateau 1,000 ft above sea level under mount Babadag (father mountain). All around there are magnificent views of pine clad mountains. During the summer months there is usually a cooling breeze coming up from the sea. Fethiye the main market town of the area is about 7 kms and the famous beach at Oludeniz is about 4 kms from the village. Rhodes is about 80 kms by sea from Fethiye.

The Olu Deniz area

The boat trips from Olü Deniz are great fun with breath taking views, freezing fresh water springs and a tasty lunch they are a very reasonable and full day out at around £10 per person.

The Aquapark at Çalis and Ovacik is a great day out for kids of all ages! There is a shallow walk in kids pool with two small slides, a mini park with swings, a large swimming pool and of course the big slides, eight in total with their own plunge pool. There are private changing rooms a bar and snack bar.
In Hisaronu there is a small fun fair with a Ferris wheel, and just opened this year is a Go Kart racing track.

There is always something to do or somewhere to go. You can visit the local markets famed for fakes and haggling, Take a Dolmus down to the busy, but picturesque harbour town of Fethiye by day or.at night why not dine in the fish market, sampling the freshly caught fish. You choose the fish and any of the nearby restuarants cook it for you!

Alternatively why not take a trip to Dalyan experience the mud baths where you can cake yourself or a friend in mud then dry out in the sun to get the full (alleged) anti ageing effect the mud provides! Dont forget the photos!Then on to Turtle beach a huge beautiful sandy beach an exhilarating day out for all.

Watch a stunning sunset over Olu Deniz turn the whole sky orange, whilst sipping a cocktail or two!

What else could you want? To paraglide off a mountain perhaps............ No Problem!

There is something for everyone - of all ages - and once you have been you will want to return time after time.

“Went with family of 3 children 9-15. We all had a wonderfully relaxing holiday” The apartment is lovely and spacious and clean and the pool is just outside with your own sunbeds. The pool was never crowded and often we had it to ourselves.Karen, who manages the property was always available and very helpful with advice etc It is situated very close to supermarkets for very easy shopping and many bars and resaurants within very easy walking distance. You can hear music from the bars at night but it is not loud and stops around midnight. There is often a lovely cool breeze coming off the mountains which helps with the heat. Tha apartment is in Ovicek which is approx 10 mins walk from Hisaronou but sort of merges with it and Hisaronou and Oludeniz are both now quite developed and touristy. There are some less crowded private beaches which you can access with a hire car or some will do pick up and drop offs from your hotel or appartment.There are many activities and sights to see close by.
