Hillside Apartment is situated at Nicholas Gate, WINNER OF THE BENTLEY INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY AWARD FOR BEST DEVELOPMENT IN TURKEY - sponsored by The Daily Mail. The apartment holds an enviable position in Hisaronu, being conveniently 5 minutes stroll from the centre yet enjoying a very peaceful position.

There are just 25 properties,set in beautifully landscaped gardens with two good sized pools and 2 toddlers pools and surrounded by pine forest.

This bright and airy self catering apartment near Olu Deniz is furnished to the highest standard and boasts many extra home comforts for a convenient and luxurious holiday. The apartment is fully air conditioned and there is no extra charge for this.

Nestled on the hillside and backed by pine trees, the apartment has stunning views of the village and surrounding Tauras mountains. The accommodation is child friendly, being on the ground floor and on one level internally. The whole complex is walled and gated.

Once a sleepy village in the mountains, Hisarönü is now one of Turkey’s popular holiday destinations. There are no high rise hotels or apartment blocks to spoil the spectacular mountain views. The beautiful and famous beach at Olu Deniz, and the atmospheric market/ harbour town of Fethiye are close by.

The village, and the location of the apartment make this ideal for families and couples of all ages. Just a 5 minutes stroll from the village , every convenience is on the doorstep and after an evening out, your bed is only a short stroll away!

Facilities

Further details indoors:
The air conditioned bedrooms are larger than average and have comfortable new beds and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There is also double sofa bed in the air conditioned lounge for an extra person.

Cots and high chairs and all baby essential equipment including car seats, sterilisers, monitors, walkers, toys and nappies can be delivered to the apartment for your arrival at reasonable rates.

The fully fitted kitchen includes hob, oven, microwave, slow cooker, grill, washing machine, iron, fridge, kettle, toaster and all the cutlery, crockery, glasses and cooking utensils to make life easy. There are coolbags available to keep drinks cool by the pool.

The bathroom is fully tiled and includes power shower. Towels and linen are provided (please bring your own beach towels). There is a small basic first aid kit. Hair dryer supplied

There are two large balconies with comfortable patio furniture. One balcony leads from double patio doors in the lounge and overlooks the pool. The second balcony leads from the front bedroom and has beautiful views of the mountains and village. The position of the balconies mean that you can enjoy either sun or shade throughout the day. Both balconies are large enough to seat six comfortably.

An iPod docking station is provided and there are books and games available.

Crime is extremely low in this area but a safety deposit box is supplied for the added security of your valuables.

There is a smoke alarm and fire extinguisher.

The apartment is our family holiday home in Hisaronu and as we visit several times a year it is furnished and equipped for total comfort and not just as a business venture.

Hillside Apartment is situated at Nicholas Gate, a sought after complex of just 25 properties. The apartment holds an enviable position in Hisaronu, set on the exclusive 'Upper Road', conveniently 5 minutes stroll from the centre yet enjoying a very peaceful position. There are two good sized pools and a small toddlers pool, set in beautifully landscaped gardens.

Less than a minute away is a quiet, friendly bar which serves lunches and evening meals (The small bar is shared by guests at Nicholas Gate and Hillcrest Apartments. -

There is a selection of mini markets within 2 -3 minute walk . There is also an super market in the centre of the village .

Free sunbeds and umbrellas are provided at both pools and Hillside Apartment provides 4 additional sun beds , and cushions for the use of our guests.

Weekly maid service including linen change (additional cleaning can be arranged £20 a time)

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Hisaronu is nestled in the South West of Turkey, an area known as The Turquoise Coast, without doubt one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline anywhere in the Mediterranean. The area around Fethiye has some of Turkey's most dramatic coastline with mountains falling away into crystal clear seas. The village is located on a plateau 1000ft above sea level under Mount Babadag (Father Mountain) and this elevation helps keep summer temperatures more comfortable.

Hisaronu is unspoilt and surrounded by breathtaking beauty, with stunning mountain backdrops and pine clad forests. It has an irresistible charm of its own, with restaurants offering culinary delights, both Turkish and International. After a leisurely dinner there are plenty of shops to browse round, or bars to suit all tastes. Every mood is catered for, from quiet bars for a nightcap or two, to lively bars offering all types of music and entertainment. Children are welcomed everywhere.

The stunning beach at Olu Deniz is only 4kms away, and the beautiful market/harbour town of Fethiye 7kms. Both are served by the cheap and very frequent 'Dolmus' (mini bus) service. A courtesy bus runs every day from just outside the complex to Nicholas Group's private Genc beach which has every facility and beautiful views of the lagoon. Taxis are readily available and reasonably priced.

The Olu Deniz area

Local activities include traditional Turkish nights, gulet cruises, tandem paragliding 6000ft from the peak of Mount Babadag over the lagoon at Oludeniz, scuba diving in Fethiye and Olu Deniz, quad-bikes, fishing, sailing, rafting and horse riding...... or you can just sit back with a glass of raki, relax and enjoy the sunshine and views!

Local agents arrange day trips to the Saklikent Gorge and the mud baths at Dalyan, the historical sites at Tlos, Pinara and Xanthos and overnight trips to Ephesus and Pamukkale.

I have to say, the apartment was first class, brilliant. Everyone said the same. Standard of cleaning so fab, fresh flowers, beds made so pretty. I know they pride themselves on cleanliness, it was just done to such a high standard. And, just little things in the apartment that you thought of, little touches, just made all the difference, brilllllllll. The pool/complex is lovely . Clean, lovely views, the guys really take care of it, pool cleaned everyday, flowers watered everyday.
Transfers perfect, lovely transport, efficient, people really friendly that look after apartments. All the information sheets in the apartment were helpful.

'What can I say, we've had our best holiday yet (this was our third time to Hisaronu) and the apartment was to die for. It has really spoilt us now because I don't think we will stop in a Hotel again and what a location, five minutes walk to the right of the apartment and your in the lively part of Hisaronu or five minute walk to the left and your in the quieter part of town (everything was exactly as you described it).
