KayaGarden has been built in 2004 in traditional Turkish style, completely in harmony with the environment, on a piece of land of 1500 m2 in the valley of Kayakoy. The garden and the view to the surrounding hills and historical object of interest are beautiful. The location is quite and still close to facilities like restaurants, dolmus, and supermarket (250-300 m). Our guests can also use the facilities of Gunay's Garden next door (support by hostess, small restaurant in rustic setting). Historical interesting objects are within 150 m. and footpaths starts before the front-door. A wide choice of facilities and opportunities for amusement are available in Hisaronu (5 km), Fethye (8 km) and Oludeniz (9 km).

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The village of Kaya koy is situated in a quiet valley, a conservation area to the south of Fethiye. The village lies in the centre of the ancient Lycian Empire along the famous Turquoise Coast of Turkey. The village of Kaya koy has a rich past. Abandoned by its Greek farmer community as part of population transfer use in 1923 to help resolve the Greco-Turkish War. The site is now preserved and protected and a centre for the Turkish-Greek Civic Dialogque Project Aegee. Kaya koy lies in a fertile valley farmed using traditional methods by local families. The valley has some traditional tea houses, family run cafe's and several excellent restaurants where outdoor dining is a must. The climate is wonderful. The sun shines more than 300 days a year. It is even possible to swim 9 months a year in the see. In the winter the temperature is even still 15 degrees, so this is an all year destination. Kaya koy is a the place to be to open all your sentences, see the green hilly coastline, the turquoise blue water, the bays with beautiful beaches, the historical interests and the high mountains are a feast for your eyes. Culture: - Market: on Sunday is a market in Gocek (with dolmus to Fethiye and then by boat to Gocek), on Monday in Hisaronu. Tuesday an Saterday in Fethiye - Hamam: There is a tradiotional Turkish bathhouse situated in the very old mosque of Fethiye. Also in Hisaronu is a Turkish bath and massage - Kervanseray: In Kaya koy there will be organised a traditional Turkish dance evening in the high season - shopping in Hisaronu and Fethiye - nightlife in Hisaronu, Fethiye and Olu Deniz History: - the old ruins of the old Kaya koy - old theatres, towns, temples you will find in Patara, Tlos, Xanthos and Letoon - tombs carved in the rocks can be admired in Fetihye Nature: - daytrip to Dalyan with it's famous turtle-beach and healthy mud-bath - Saklikent is a huge cleft, where even in the summer the water is bursting out of the mountains. You can walk into the cleft through the water - Butterfly valley, boattrip from the beach of Olu deniz - Beautiful boattrip to the 12 islands Sports - several walkingways (starting from the villa), for example the famous Lycian road - biking - horse-riding - diving - sailing - swimming - paragliding - squad-riding
