This very special and private property is situated in the idyllic and ever popular San Roque quarter of the old village of Oliva. Set amongst the medieval cobbled streets and lanes of this historic area, the house is a mere stones throw away from San Roque square, with its bars, supermarket and bakers.
Due to the ideal location of the house, you will enjoy panoramic views of the sea, mountains and the picturesque roof tops and church towers of this stunning and romantic town.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region
The historic town of Oliva lies on the southern tip of Costa del Azahar, close to the border of Costa Blanca, on what is known as the Orange Blossom Coast. Oliva is not a tourist resort but a traditional Spanish town and will introduce you to the 'Real Spain' and its many traditions.
Boasting over 300 days of sunshine each year the mild winters, and pleasant summers, more bearable than further south, mean the 10 km of golden clean beaches can be enjoyed for most of the year. The beaches are easily accessible by a 20 minute walk through the vast orange groves, a 5 minute drive, or a bus from the town centre.
Oliva is steeped in history with its Moorish castle remains, a maze of narrow cobbled streets, one street built into the hillside dates back to the 16th century, as well as the two beautiful blue domed churches. The churches and castle are illuminated at night, making the skyline a sight not to be missed.
You may also be lucky enough to catch one of the many traditional fiestas as they pass through the streets. For example in July there is the Moors & Christians Festival, depicting the historic past of the area, with fantastic costumes & firework finale.

How to get there
Easy jet, Ryanair, are the main cheap airlines. You can fly to Valencia or to Alicante.
Care hire is cheap from the airports and it will take about 50 fin to get to the house from Valencia airport.
You can also use the metro from the airport to the train station Valencia and then get a train to Gandhia this will be the cheapest option from Gandhia a taxi will take you to the house.

Further details indoors: There is no air con in the house but we have several fans. In the winter months we have a wood burning fire.
One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor with a toilet opposite. This is a room with 2 single beds, great for grand parents or teenagers.
Further details outdoors: There is a lovely roof terrace with a shaded area, you can take a cold shower on the terrace if you get too hot. There are sun loungers and a table set up for a meal.
Just at the bottom for our street you will find a baker, butcher, and a SPAR. There is also a bar in the square near the church.
