Small two bedroom ground floor apartment fully equipped and ideal for a family of 3 or 4. Double bedroom and a further bedroom with a single bed. Kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker and all cutlery/crockery. Shower room with toilet and washbasin. Lounge with TV and DVD Player and air-con/heating. The outside front terrace has lockable gates to the front and side. The side area, although shared, is further space for sunbathing or for a paddling pool as there is an external tap. Only 80 metres from the beautiful Aigua Blanca beach which is never crowded even at the height of the season. From July to Sept there are beach bars erected which are open all night long. Only a minutes walk away there is a supermarket stocking everything you need including a butchers and fruit and veg. A number of bars and restaurants are also within a minute's walk of this beautiful beach area. Parking is available outside.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region
Oliva beach boasts 10kms of blue flag beaches. In the two main areas of Pau Pi and Aigua Blanca you will find a variety of bars and restaurants, souvenir shop, ice cream parlours, chemists and a cash point machine. In the summer months the Oliva market, which is held every Friday morning along the main Paseo in the town, moves to the Pau Pi beach area on Sunday evenings. There is a bus service from the town to the beach every 30 minutes during the summer period but this service is less frequent at other times. The walk to the town takes approximately 30 - 40 minutes.
Oliva area
Oliva hosts many traditional festivals in the town - one of the most popular being the Moors and Christians festival held during the third week in July. The festival lasts for around 4 days and the costumes are magnificent, with parades and bands and mock battles taking place both in the town and at the beach.
During the months July and August the 'chiringuitos' (beach bars) are erected on the beach and these are open all day and night and attract many people who enjoy the lovely climate and a cocktail and dance in the evening/night time.

If you have transport there are many places locally to visit including rastro markets in various places along the coast, El Vergel Safari Park, Denia where you can also take ferries to Ibiza and Majorca, Benidorm and many more. Benidorm has a water park but one can also be found in Cullera just north of Oliva and more tranquil than the bustly resorts further south.
For the energetic Oliva Surf offers courses in kite surfing and this is within walking distance of the apartment.
How to get there
Oliva on the eastern coast of Spain is only 45 minutes drive from Valencia airport and 1hour 15mins from Alicante. Budget airlines such as Easyjet, Ryanair and Jet2.com are all now servicing Valencia airport and equally Alicante. Driving from either airport take the AP-7 until you come to Junction 61 (Oliva). If not hiring a car you can catch a train from Valencia airport through to Valencia estacion del norte and change there for Gandia - the next large town from Oliva. New service from Liverpool to Valencia commencing end of October 2007!

Further details indoors: The interior is small but ideal for holidays. The kitchen has everything you need. The bedroom with a single bed has a wardrobe and the double bedroom has cupboards/drawer space. The lounge has air-conditioning/heating and has a comfy sofabed and TV/DVD so the kids can bring their favourite films along! The terrace area to the front has table and chairs for dining and room for relaxers and a paddling pool.
Further details outdoors: A number of bars and restaurants are all within a minute's walk together with a fully stocked supermarket. Parking is available outside the property and the beach is only 80metres away. The front terrace has a sun shade and roll up blinds.
