Home description
Palmera Park consists of 24 privately owned bungalows and apartments. Casa Mimosa (bungalow E2) is a ‘2 under one roof’ bungalow, with a veranda overlooking the delightful gardens (with a large pool) with mountains in the distance.
A portable BBQ and two sunbeds and garden chairs are provided for use in the garden. The safe, unspoilt Santa Ana and Les Deveses beaches (famous for windsurfing) are 5 minutes walk away.
The area is quiet and uncommercialised, free from package tours. There are a few bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance and a big choice within a short drive. The choice is more limited in winter. A car is essential, although a bus service runs all the round along the coast road into Denia.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region
The area is renowned for its hospitality towards families over many years and summers and also now towards the increasing number of Northern Europeans discovering it’s relaxed atmosphere.
You can enjoy the year round warm climate of the area.
Oliva / Les Devedes area
Palmera Park (where Casa Mimosa is situated) is located in Oliva, but Denia is the closest most attractive Town. Denia, the capital of the Marina Alta, is a modern cosmopolitan city offering both tourists and residents a range of services. Denia owes its current importance to its being the historical city of the region par excellence, a city that was known in medieval times as the Marquesado de Denia. Its name derives from the Latin name Dianium which is the origin of the name given to its inhabitants, the dianenses. Daniya was its Islamic name. Dénia is situated at the north of the province of Alicante, in a place with a special warm weather and a great many sunshine days with a mean average annual temperature of 20ºC.
Dénia’s beaches are of a remarkable beauty and it has a historic centre where the castle raises majestically right in the centre of town. Mount Montgó, declared a Natural Park, is only a few metres from the sea and fishing boats come and go whilst they mark the rhythm of everyday life and provide Dénia with the best of the sea, making it the celebrated cuisine haven it has become. We propose a climb to the castle, a visit to museums, churches, streets and old quarters, a walk in Montgó Natural Park, watch how ships arrive to the fish exchange, enjoying sand beaches or encouraging you to practice a sport, living local fiestas with us, etc.
Dénia is considered one of the districts in Spain with the most fiestas. Each station of the year has festivities associated to life in the quarters, streets or the whole of the local population, true to the extent that it is difficult to come to Dénia without a surprise religious or festive celebration. All public is welcome, from families to those who prefer the night. Examples are: - The Falles bonfires, with their passacaglia, mascletaes fireworks and the final cremà or burning of the bonfires. - The Patron Saint Fiestas in Honour of the Most Holy Blood (Santíssima Sang) and their "Bous a la mar" (Bulls to the sea), declared a Fiesta of National Tourist Interest. - The Moors and Christians, with the disembarkation, fight in the castle and, specially, the gala cortège. - The All Saint Attraction Fair, with fair attractions, specially longed for by children.
Palmera Park is an excellent place to start your trips to the mountains. There are a lot of scenic routes and a lot of small villages to visit (Jalon, Orba, etc).
At only 5 km is the Oliva Nova Golf Club situatues . This 18 holes course is designed by Seve Ballesteros. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre.
El Verger (at only 5 km's) has a very nice Safaripark.
Close to Casa Mimosa are some nice restaurants and supermarkets.
