This modern complex is situated in Pata de Baixo a tiny village with a bar and a couple of shops owned and run by very friendly Portuguese. Within about 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive is the old fishing village of Olhos d'Agua. With its stunning coastal walks, beautiful beach, complete with colourful fishing boats and superb restaurants within touching distance of the sea, Olhos d'Agua is, we think, practically perfect! It also has bars, an Intermarche supermarket, banks, post office, tourist information, small covered market plus much more. Faro airport is only about 30 km away. Albufeira and Vilamoura, both large sophisticated towns just 10 minutes drive. So if its peace and quiet and lovely views you crave, you have it but ... should you also require clubs and nightlife, you can have that too at just a short distance. As for golf .... well, Portugal boasts some of the world's best courses, several of which are within 10 minutes drive.

There is one double and one twin bedroom, both have ample wardrobe space. One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bath, shower, basin, bidet and loo. the other bathroom has a shower, loo and basin. The living/dining room is large with table and chairs for 6 and two large comfortable sofas, one of which is a sofabed. There is a flatscreen cable TV. and DVD player. If children require a cot or a high chair, these can be provided at a slight additional cost and prior arrangement.

The balcony adds a whole extra dimension to the apartment. It runs across the whole width and all rooms have windows opening onto it. Again, there is seating for 6 so all meals can be taken al fresco, overlooking the pool and the view. The balcony has additional sofa and chairs. There are sun loungers which can be taken down to the pool for sunbathing once the sun has gone off the balcony. All windows have electric shutters to keep you cool in summer, warm in winter.

There is a large pool and children's pool. The grounds are quite spacious, well maintained and safe. The complex has an underground carpark with a reserved space for each apartment.

The white sun loungers and chairs can be taken down to the pool from the apartment and taken back at the end of the holiday

The apartment is available for rent for short or long lets. Additional cleaning and laundry changes can be requested and arranged at extra cost.

A deposit of 25% is payable to confirm the booking. The balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival date. Cancellations less than 4 weeks before arrival are non-refundable.

Unless by special arrangement, arrival at the apartment must be no earlier than 2 p.m. and departure by 10 a.m.

The Algarve region

The Algarve has everything. Wonderfully sunny weather, beautiful sandy beaches which rival some of the best in the world, many of them have Blue Flag awards to prove it. The weather is sunny for most of the year making the Algarve particularly attractive for winter sunny holiday and breaks. Also wonderful for walking, cycling, surfing, rock climbing, kayaking, tennis, horse riding and many other sports including of course, golf. Some of the best courses in the world are here in the Algarve.

For a small area (160 km x 50 km) the Algarve packs quite a punch - you really can say it has it all. Whatever you want your holiday to deliver, the Algarve will be able to deliver it!

Olhos de Agua

The ancient city of Albufeira, formerly known in Roman times as Baltum, is known as the gateway to the Algarve, In the 1960's it became the tourist hub it still is now. Known for its many clubs and bars, it also boasts two beaches Praia dos Pescadores and Praia do tunel. It also has a modern marina which offers a variety of boat trips around the Algarve.

Olhos d'Agua used to be a small fishing village. It is very attractive with its narrow cobbled streets and its beautiful beach where the fishermen still mend their nets. Nowadays although small compared with Albufeira, it has a lot to offer, supermarket, shops, banks, bars and restaurants. Olhos d'Agua really is the perfect package!

"Excellent apartment, quiet location"

We had a wonderful time. The apartment was everything as described. So peaceful and quiet, just what we needed. Plenty of room around the pool. Well equipped apartment with a fantastic balcony for alfresco dining. The meet and greet was very good and friendly. Would definitely return.
