About the home

Quinta d' Helvete is a beautiful, well-maintained 5 bedroom villa, situated in the Eastern Algarve village of Brancanes between the fishing town of Olhao and village of Moncarapacho within 15 minutes drive of Faro airport. The villa is in a secluded location set in its own picturesque gardens and grounds, which contain orange, lemon, lime, carob and pomegranate trees.

2008 has seen many changes for our luxury villa, 4 of our luxury bedrooms are now en-suite and all bathrooms have been completely modernised with new fixtures, fittings and tiles. The Kitchen is also completely new and again has been modernised to a very high standard. The villa now benefits from air conditioning and heating, and the pool is now heated too!

~ 5 double bedrooms and its own private heated swimming pool with plenty of furniture for lazing and entertaining, together with a BBQ for al-fresco dining.

~ The villa is fully furnished with a new, well equipped fully fitted kitchen.

~ The property is fully secure with fencing around the whole perimetre of the property and its grounds.

~ Snooker table and satellite TV installed with an 18 hole PGA Golf course just 2.0 mins away.

Bedrooms: 5 Double bedrooms, 4 en-suite (1 cot available) - sleeps a maximum of 10 people (2 bedrooms situated on first floor with their own en-suite).

4 Bath/Shower rooms - Four - Also an outside shower situated alongside the pool. All of our en-suite bathrooms have been recently modernised with all new fixtures and fittings.

Entertainment - Games / Disco room - Satellite T.V. & stereo system, pool table, table football, table tennis, karaoke machine.

Living room - Fully modernised and furnished to a very high standard.

Kitchen - A new, modernised, fully equipped kitchen has just been installed with washing machine, microwave, cooker, fridge, freezer, dish washer, etc.

Although our villa is self catering, there is a very good restaurant situated approx, 2 miles away - see link: http://tinyurl.com/34spr9z . and also a number of very good restaurants at the marina/port of Olhao approx. 10mins drive away.
Local supermarkets are also close within 5 mins drive with long opening hours, and a small mini mart within 5 mins walk although we are advised that they have limited opening hours.

Pool - Our 13m x 4m pool is private and heated.

Private barbecue area with plenty of seating and furnishings. Large fridge/freezer. Large garage and driveway parking for up to 6 vehicles

~ Maid service is once a week and also the pool will be regularly maintained.

~ Linen and towels are provided.

~ Meet and greet service available with a small welcome food pack, and when you run out the excellent 'Forum Shopping Centre at Faro is just a 10 minute drive away. Boasting great restaurants and fantastic shopping most nights until midnight!

Conditions

The villa is available for rent all year around and is equipped with heating as well as air conditioning, and the pool is heated so nothing should spoil your fun. Sorry but there are no pets allowed.

The Algarve / East Algarve region

The Algarve is famous for its sunshine and its beaches. The climate is very nice all year round and allows for a relaxing sunny holiday, even in winter as the temperatures does not fall below 0 degrees.

The Algarve is become increasingly popular for its Mediterranean climate and its South facing coastline which offers amazing visits of limestone caves and grottoes.

There are many villages to visit such as Albufeira, Lagos, Tavira and Vilamoura.

The Olhao area

The location although secluded is within 5 minutes drive to the very pleasant Portuguese fishing town (with its daily fish market) of Olhao and also Moncarapacho with its historic village square. It is still very convenient for all local amenities, supermarkets and some of the best fish restaurants in the Algarve. The lovely historic town of Tavira is only a 20 minute drive away.

The beautiful beaches of Ria Formosa can be reached from a short ferry ride at the port of Olhao a must for all beach lovers.

As expected, golf is predominant in the Algarve and Quinta d'Helvete is perfectly situated to capitalise on some of the best courses around.

Quite simply, Quinta d'Helvete is the perfect location for a relaxing, carefree peaceful holiday.

“Beautiful Villa in a lovely place” Just arrived back from Quinta D'eHelvete, we had a wonderful relaxing time, the villa was lovely and had everything that we needed, the location is off the beaten track which is what we wanted,... more

“REALLY GOOD” This villa was very nice and clean had every thing you could wish for and we are all very pleased that as a group of 6 adults and 8 children there was still loads of room to chill away from the smaller children and enjoy our own space, would really consider going to this villa again even the fact that you are a bit of a drive away from the town is a big bonus as no noise, which i must add is what most people want from there holiday..
