The Pure Algarve Apartment has a private balcony and roof top terrace with stunning views out across the Ria Formosa and to the sea. Close to the centre of Olhão, but located in a quiet area just on the edge of the town, with all restaurants, cafés and bars just a short walk away.
Located on the second floor and with lift and stair access, the apartment is simply yet tastefully furnished. A spacious lounge diner with comfortable sofas, and a large dining table with seating for 6 leads through large patio doors on to the private balcony with views of the Ria Formosa.
The kitchen is well equipped and has all modern appliances including microwave, dishwasher, and washer-drier. The laundry room has space for drying clothes and contains the central hoover system.

The main bedroom can be a large double or twin, and has spacious fitted wardrobes with interior remote light, a dressing table with mirror over, complete with an en suite bathroom (shower over).

The single bedroom has a large fitted wardrobe with interior remote light, and a standard size single bed, and there is a large family shower room.
All rooms have separately controllable air conditioning / heating, and electric shutters. All of the beds are very comfortable, high quality, English beds.
A stunning roof terrace with swimming pool has amazing uninterrupted views of the Ria Formosa and out to sea - perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun.
The private balcony has a dining table for 6 and offers views out to the Ria Formosa and beyond, perfect for a morning breakfast or an evening drink to watch the sun go down.
Private parking is at the front of the apartment, and the main entrance has secure video entry, and also high security locks on the internal apartment door.

The apartment can sleep 5 adults, all on full size comfortable English beds. A cot and high chair can be supplied in addition at no extra cost.

There are good supermarkets all located within easy walking distance.
New this year is the option to book a relaxing massage in the comfort of your apartment. Whether an old injury needs treatment, or you would just like to pamper yourself, a massage could be the perfect way to spend an afternoon. If you are interested in booking, please enquire for a copy of the Massage List to be emailed to you. Pre-booking your massage before your holiday will give the benefit of a 10% discount. Our Masseuse is fully qualified and is highly recommended - if you would like any more information, please feel free to contact us directly.

Conditions
A non-refundable 25% rental fee is due on booking , with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival date.
Bookings less than 8 weeks prior to arrival are to be paid in full on booking.
Preferred payment methods - Bank transfer into Euros and Paypal. You don't need to be PayPal registered to use this method of payment - it is secure, and allows money to be changed from sterling to euros easily.
A Security Deposit of €100.00 is to be paid with the Final Payment and is to be applied against the additional cleaning and/or replacement of the property, furnishings, fixtures and fittings. We will return the Security Deposit to you within 14 days of the return of the keys to us, less any deductions in accordance with the conditions listed above.

The Eastern Algarve is the lesser known area of the Algarve and for this reason remains unspoilt. With a near perfect climate, the beautiful coastline offers miles of unspoilt beaches and the stunning landscape changes from season to season offering carpets of wild flowers and orange blossom in the spring.
The inland hills offer an insight into the old Algarve, with traditional cottages to see and cuisine to sample. The friendliness of the people, the mix of cultures and the local architecture all show influences of the Greeks, Romans and Muslims who populated the Algarve before the Portuguese conquest in 1249.
The Olhao / Village Marina area
Traditionally a fishing village, Olhão is famous for seafood and this can be experienced by a trip to one of the many wonderful seafood restaurants or by a visit to see the wonderful fish market in the historic market buildings right at the heart of old Olhão. The hustle and bustle of the old town with its many cafés, bars and restaurants is just a short walk from the apartment and, if you venture a little further into the old town you will discover a wealth of shops, boutiques, and a few more cafés tucked away to the side.
Olhão Marina is bursting full of yachts, motorboats and traditional fishing vessels, which provides a perfect backdrop to an evening stroll, or a brisk morning walk to get fresh bread. There is always something to see, and with many shaded seating areas for you to stop and enjoy the view and soak up the atmosphere.
The beautiful deserted sandy beaches of Olhão are on Ilha Culatra and Ilha Armona, and you can catch a ferry, or take a water taxi to the beach can be taken from right outside the apartment, although there is a slightly reduced service in winter. Armona island also has a couple of cafés and restaurants.
Olhão market is every Saturday, and there is a wonderful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and fresh fish and seafood. You can visit to do some fresh food shopping or just to have a coffee and watch the world go by. Other markets in the area are worth visiting too, and a list of these and their dates will be available for you in the apartment information folder.

Once you have arrived at Faro Airport, you have only a 20 minute transfer, so the start of your holiday is not too far away! Our booking through Pure Algarve was simple and queries dealt with efficiently. We were given lots of information about the area and all our questions were answered with a very helpful response from the owners who couldnt do enough to help, giving us contacts and advice to all the nearest activities. Everything in the handbook was up-to-date and very helpful. At a reasonable price we were able to enjoy the apartment at Olhao. This is A spacious, well equipped apartment which met all our families needs. The rooftop terrace has a lovely view, the pool is small, however on only a couple of occasions did we share with other guests therefore enjoyed it to ourselves. This town is a friendly, warm place to visit with the locals welcoming you. Restaurants, bars and cafe's are unbelievably cheap with lots of delicious fish dishes to choose from, the atmosphere and good food makes a pleasant evening for any family. Supermarkets are also cheap and in walking distance to the apartment. Families with smaller children could struggle a little to find things to do, depending on interests. The island of Armona has a beautiful beach and is a must to visit. Travelling out of the village proved difficult at times so we used the taxi recommended by the owners but obviously adding to cost of days out. The nearest water park is the Aqua show and this was a brilliant, funfilled day. Loved the Gypsy markets on the marina. The fish market is a ten minute walk and is fabulous, as is the fruit and veg market. Fishing trips in Vilamoura were an experience! (deep sea) Overall we would recommend this holiday to any family looking at spending time together without being overwhelmed by tour guides, karaoke and candy! 10/10 |

Myself and my family enjoyed a very relaxing holiday here. The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped. The view from the balcony is lovely if you fancy an evening lunch there, although the quality of the local seafood eateries is marvellous. The owners could not do enough to ensure a pleasant stay. Highly recommended. |
