Albaria is located in a very quiet area surrounded by trees, fields, hills and vineyards, 1.8 miles from beaches and Saint Florent. There are 4 lodges which accommodate 2 to 14 people. This unit can accommodate up to 6 people with 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 1 mezzanine for an extra bed or to store luggages, a fully furnished kitchen and living roo, and a large deck with outdoor furnitures. Restaurants, markets and all facilities are in Saint Florent 's town. With nearby hiking, biking and horse back riding trails, our guests will enjoy either outdoor activities, relaxing on the beaches or just resting in a peaceful environment.

SCANDOLA unit for 2 to 6 people : 1 or 2 bedrooms (2 single beds and 1 king size bed), 1 or 2 shower-rooms, 1 or 2 WC, 1 mezzanine, kitchen with dining table and 6 chairs, living-room with 2 sofas and a coffee table, large terrace with outdoor table, 6 chairs, service table and 1 lounge chair.
The lodge is south exposure. Trees are part of the terraces, that's why BBQ is not permitted. All terraces are secured by balcony.

We can provide other villassame as Scandola unit. Each unit are linked together by terraces and stairs. They can be used together for a bigger house or be independant, one by one with private access and terrace.

Conditions
The booking is completed when the contract and first 30% part of payment are received.
The second 30% part of payment must be payed at least 1 month before arrival date. If not the booking will be cancelled and no refound will be done.
Pay attention to note the dead line of 2nd part paiment !
The last 40% part paiment, will be payed the arrival day to get the key. You will also have to give a guarantee of 300,00 euros and an ID. This last one will be return one day later, and the guarantee will be return the departure day after a complete check up of the lodge.
Possible to pay online by credit card with Paypal or by check only if they are french!!
Pets not allowed. Strictly forbidden to smoke inside.
The Corsica region
Corsica is an island between south of France and Sardaigna Island. Corsica belongs to France. The mediterranean climate makes it as the best summer destination for lot of north european people. 2 years ago, one of the Corsica beach was in the top 3 of The Times Magazine most beautiful beach arround the world ranking !!! But most of the time we forget to speak about Corsica mountains who are as beautiful as the beaches can be. So this country is perfectly made for outdoor activities. But if you prefered history monuments or vineyard propsect, Corsica won't forget about you.
The Oletta / St Florent area
Saint Florent is a beautiful port on the mediterrannean sea. And Oletta a beautiful typicall corsica mountain village. Separated each other by 6 kms, Albaria is just halfway between them. the Nebbiu Valley is famous for its vineyard. The Patrimonio guitar festival is in July and is visited by very famous internationnal artists.

We had a lovely stay at the Albaria Lodge this spring. We had the smallest of the three lodges, but for the two of us, there was ample room and we hardly knew anyone else was on site! The surroundings are lovely and quiet, we had no trouble relaxing or enjoying breakfast on the balcony. The lodge is only a short drive from St Florent, which was great for eating out in the evenings, or getting some bits from the shops! The drive from Bastia airport is only 30 minutes too. Natalie was helpful and spoke better English than I do French, we'd definitely go back. |

We went for the third time to this place. If you're looking for a very quiet place, close to the beach, montains, commodity, amenities, this is one of the best area in Corsica. I particularly appreciate being on my terrace for the breakfast, watching and listening the rapacious flying over the montain. Sometimes some peacefull cows and veals may come very close to the chalets. An other positive point. There are only four chalets. Everything happens in a frendly and calm athmosphere. Event if it is a quiet place, you are not very far from the Saint Florent village where you can find everything you may need (supermarché, bars, restaurants, banks, pharmacy, post office,...). It is 5 minutes drive from the villas. If you prefer to leave your car to the parking, you may also use the track for a 40 minutes trekking. The LA ROYA beach is also at 5 minutes drive from the chalets. But don't forget to visit the tiny and typical villages in the surrounding area. Saint Florent/Oletta is an ideal place if you want to visit the north side of the island. |

Situated in a peaceful valley which is disturbed only by the sounds of nature, with views up to the mountains and down towards the sea, these beautifully clean and modern wooden lodges are nonetheless only ¾ of a mile down a pretty, well-surfaced lane from the boulangerie on the main road, itself only 1½ miles from the scenic little port of Saint-Florent with its marina, beaches, restaurants and shops - and with Bastia less than 17 miles away, you have the best of both worlds: accessibility as well as serenity. Albaria Lodge is an ideal base for touring the area by car, as well as for exploring its glorious undisturbed surroundings by walking and cycling from your own front door. Nathalie & Christophe live on site and achieve a perfect balance of allowing us our privacy whilst still leaving us comfortable in the knowledge that they are there on hand should we have any queries. They ensure a warm welcome, and our peace of mind throughout our stay. We appreciate the quality that has been so integral in the equipping of Albaria Lodge. We felt so relaxed and 'at home' immediately upon arrival. Everything we could possibly expect and more is provided; from the dishwasher, large fridge with icebox, washing machine, combination microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, kettle, etc in the kitchen to the large terrace, patio furniture, parasol, sun-loungers, free broadband internet, free loan of cycles, secure parking in your own space, private access to each lodge, etc. This is all so refreshing, as so many other holidays elsewhere have lacked those thoughtful final touches meaning that you have to make do – but not here! We honestly couldn't think of anything that was missing, or that we needed to bring - and that is probably why we have now spent a third consecutive year holidaying at Albaria Lodge, and just enjoying being there – and we can't wait to return again. |
