We booked Dove Cottage for my daughters birthday weekend and what a treat it was ! Chrissy and Keith welcomed us despite our late arrival and the cottage was spotlessly clean well equipped warm and inviting . The pool and hot tub are fantastic and kept three teenage girls occupied all weekend . Costessy is a great base to discover Norwich, The Norfolk Broads, and the Norfolk Coast . Dove cottage has a adjoining cottage, squirrel cottage and both would be fantastic for two families to enjoy a great break which is our next plan! See you soon Chrissy and Keith

This was our second time staying here. First time was with our 3 kids 2 years ago, This time was just the 2 of us. We had a really great and relaxing time. The swimming pool and jacuzzi was amazing. Chrissy and Keith were very helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back again.

Dove cottage is fantastic, as are the landlords and their spaniels. The cottage is disabled friendly and equipped with everything you need . The pool is lovely, easy to get in for the less mobile although the hot tub is not so easy if you are disabled. The cottage is in the grounds of the landlords house but they are not intrusive in anyway, they are both friendly and helpful. Once they knew we liked bird watching a bird feeder was put in our garden. Which attracted many birds including a Jay. Deers came morning and night to the field beyond the cottage garden, and a pheasant visited often. It is situated at the end of a private road, so no traffic noise but you are only 10 - 15 minutes away from a huge Sainsbury's and the main A47. All the take always including the Fish and chip shop deliver and know that there is a security gate on the property! There is so much to do in the local area that a week was not long enough, one of the best places to visit for nature lovers is Fairhaven, the woodland walks are fabulous, even using a mobility scooter was no problem The estate owns its own Broad and you can combine your trip with a boat trip. There is an abundance of wildlife reserves in the area - do you homework before you go to maximise your time. Other reviews have commented that the WiFi was iffy but all three of us were able to use it with no problem. We hope to return to the cottage soon.

"Lovely cottage - made even better by the pool"
This was a great place to stay with young children. Location wise, there are lots of things to go and do, inc lovely beaches, adventure parks, a great wildlife reserve, beautiful steam railways etc within about 45 minutes drive. The cottage itself was clean & well equipped though it was a surprise to find it had a shower but no bath. I'm now glad I didn't notice that before booking as I think it would have put me off and I would have been wrong! The wet room style shower meant that even for little ones it was absolutely fine. The on-site owners were very welcoming and helpful without being at all intrusive, but the over-riding attraction for us was the gorgeous swimming pool. It is shared with the other holiday cottage but managed in such a way that the occupants of each cottage get exclusive use each day. It was perfect and like the cottage - very clean and well maintained. Will almost certainly re-visit.

"Such a fantastic holiday which we didn't want to end"
Fantastic quiet location just 10 minutes from the City. Fantastic grounds that Chrissie and Keith were happy for us to explore and use. The swimming pool was fantastic and a massive hit with the kids. We loved playing on the huge lawn with the football or the badminton set. Nothing was too much trouble for Chrissie and Keith and they were happy to answer any of our questions. It felt like home with all of the equipment that was provided but without all the stress. Would recommend to all.

"GREAT COTTAGE WITH SWIMMING POOL AND HOT TUB"
Dove cottage had everything we wanted from our holiday. The swimming pool and hot tub made it even better. The cottage was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed (even big mugs and a sharp knife!) Chrissy and Keith were very welcoming and bought us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. The local pub was ok and the two pubs at Drayton were good. We used the park and ride to Norwich which was very worth while. We would happily return in the future.

"Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant."
Thanks for a great short break - the cottage was perfect and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The hot tub was the icing on the cake, and the friendliness of the hosts throughout was top notch. GREAT!

"Total Relaxation - Definitely De-Stressed."
We found Dove cottage to be delightful and particularly liked the swimming pool and hot tub. The location of the cottage made it ideal for exploring the area, it was easy to get into the city of Norwich on the park and ride. The weather was amazing, sunshine every day and we had a great time.

"Amazing would definitely recommend this cottage."
We have just come back from a weeks stay in Dove cottage. The cottage has everything you need during your stay. The pool and surroundings are perfect. if you choose to go out during the day there is so much to do for all the family. Our 6 year old son enjoyed his holiday so much he wanted to live there forever, he really did not want to come home. The owners are very friendly and helpful. we will definitely go back.

"Absoulutely Fantastic - Nothing too much trouble for our Hosts"
I loved the location. Having the sole swimming pool and jacuzzi for the family at set times made it even more special. Accommodation was excellent. The wet room style shower was a god send - care needed when floor wet it was a bit slippery at times
