A luxury mobile home for those who like a peaceful holiday without the trappings of a commercial site. It is located about 30 yards from the farmhouse.
The home is modern and well equipped. We are an ideal base for Walking, Cycling, Golf, or just relaxing. Both north and south beaches are about an hour away. Okehampton is just 3 miles away with several pubs, serving good food. For horse riders, there are several Riding Schools in the area. Just a mile or so from the farm fishing is available at Meldon Reservoir where there is also a picnic area. River fishing is also available nearby.
Sailing lessons are available for both adults and children at Roadford Lake. For those who like guided walks, a number of starting points are nearby. There are also cycle tracks, the closest being Granite Cycle Path No. 27. We have direct private access to this path with the cycle hire centre just 500 yards away. The Tors are great starting points for those keen on hang gliding. There is an information file in the home detailing many local activities and places of interest

The West Country / Devon region
The West country is famous for its beaches, walking, cycle trails and history. Lots of adventure parks in Devon and further afield in Cornwall. There is the famous Championship golf course at St.Mellion nr Plymouth. While you are here you can take the time to visit Lands End, or the Eden Project in Cornwall. If you fancy an early start, you could even do a day trip to the Scillys! The Lundy Island ferry goes from Bideford, which is an hour to the north.Other attractions include Creally Adventure Park near Exeter, The Donkey Sanctuary near Sidmouth, Go - carting is available at Liskeard or Exeter, with ten pin bowling at Exeter or Plymouth
Okehampton / Sourton Cross area
Youlditch is situated between Okehampton and Launceston and is half a mile from the A30 within easy reach of the M5. Dartmoor is on your doorstep with stunning views from the site. Tavistock is also close where there is a market and plenty of shops. Okehampton Agricultural show is held in August. Okehampton now has its' own cinema with two screens!
How to get there
Southbound M5 to Exeter. Leave at Junction 31 taking the A30 Westbound towards Launceston and Bodmin. Leave the A30 a the A386 Junction, signposted Tavistock and Barnstaple. At the bottom of the slip road, turn right taking the A386 towards Barnstaple. Go under the A30 and past the Shell Garage (24 hours), Little Chef and Service Area. Youlditch Farm will be found on the right hand side after 500 yards. Please note DO TAKE CARE when turning right into the drive. Go down the drive, over the bridge and follow the drive down until you reach the Holiday Homes which are on your right.
