'The Lily Pad is a beautiful, four star, apartment on the ground floor of a stunning Victorian house. A combination of modern living in a classical setting make The Lily Pad the perfect romantic get away. It has own glorious sunny private garden and courtyard and all gusts have open access and to and private use of the cedar wood hot tub. The apartment has a large shower room and stylish kitchen, as well as a very generous sitting room come dinning room leading onto the garden .Every care has been taken to make your holiday both practical and indulgent. The luxurious double bedroom with French doors onto your own private courtyard enhance the over all experience.
Lily Pad is conveniently located, on the edge of the moorland town of Okehampton, just off the main A30. In the privacy of the large Victorian garden beside a leafy lane, with a lovely flat walk to the river which winds its way gently up onto Dartmoor, as well as being within walking distance of the local supermarkets, cinema, pubs, cafes and leisure centre.
Being located in the gorgeous Devon countryside means there are also plenty activities at the youth hostel near by, the steam railway next door and the open Dartmoor walks all around, as well as the town castle to explore.
Okehampton is ideally placed to explore the wonders of Devon and Cornwall; it has the luxury of being within driving distance of major attractions like the Eden Project without being a major tourist trap. An ideal holiday destination for walkers, bird watchers, cyclists and all those who love the countryside with the benefits and conveniences that a small town has to offer.
The Lily Pad has plenty of off road parking and also offers guests wireless internet for those who need to keep in touch with the outside world.
Flexible changeover day is offered along with short breaks (three days minimum) all year round. Payment can be made by bank transphere, cheque or with a card over the phone.
