The apartment where you will be staying is based in a beautiful Mediterranean complex, called Los Jarales Residencial, which is situated in the beautiful Andalusian white village of Ojen. It is interesting to note that Ojen is also known as “pueblo blanco” (“white village”).

Venturing out of the apartment and walking along the romantic cobbled streets of Ojen, you'll be able to enjoy the many attractions of the town itself. Because the apartment you will be staying at is only a few minutes walk from the town square, you have easy access to any supplies you might desire. You might also like to think about visiting the local tavernas and bars where you can enjoy the sensual tastes of the anise liqueur, aguardiente, which made the village famous.

From the village, a five-minute drive will take you into Marbella, the main city in Costa del Sol, and the coast where you can enjoy the beach and sea!The apartment is ideally located to allow you to enjoy and explore the peace and tranquillity of this part of southern Spain, giving you pleasurable experiences that you'll be able to remember time and time again.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

With the Mediterranean sea, and the mountains at the back, the main tourist attraction of Costa del Sol are the beaches, some of the best in Europe. These beaches have the blue flag of the European Community and have sufficient facilities and lifeguards to be among the safest, cleanest and most enjoyable beaches for adults and children alike.

However, the Costa del Sol has more to offer its visitors than beaches alone, including sports like golf, tennis, scuba diving, and many more. All of them are available for amateurs and professionals.

Many different cultures have passed through and left their mark on the Costa del Sol, including the Romans, the Moors and the Spanish. In every town and city, you will find archaeological sites of great value, historical monuments, splendid churches and cathedrals and museums such as the Museo del Bonsai, the Cinema Museum and the Picasso Museum.

Ojen area

Ojen is a classic typical "white village" ("Pueblo Blanco") located only 5 minutes from the capital of Costa del Sol, Marbella, so beaches are within easy reach. Ojen's wine museum is one of its great attractions, where a guided tour includes sampling the various local wines.

Another thing that might capture your attention as you walk north of the village is the old Moorish castle. Here you will be able to really see, hear and feel the village's deep history and roots.

Finally, don't forget the famous "Ojen Flamenco Festival" which has been taking place in Ojen since 1975 and has been visited by most of the famous flamenco singers and dancers. The festival, celebrated in July and August, is among the most famous flamenco festivals in Spain. How to get there

The nearest airport is Malaga - Ojen is 60km (an easy 40 minute drive on the motorway) from the airport. Gibraltar is a one hour drive from Ojen.
The nearest bus station is in Marbella - Ojen is around 12 km (10-15 min drive)

The kitchen, fitted with everything you need, has wonderful views too, meaning you can enjoy the amazing atmosphere of sunny Spain as you cook!

The apartment is furnished with classic Rustic floors, and double glazed windows. You also have easy and convenient access to underground parking spaces, so parking is simple!

Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
No pets allowed.
Refundable breakages deposit of 200 Euros required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
50% of rental fee due on booking. Remainder payable four weeks before the start of your stay.
