The newly built Villa has been furnished to a high standard and is situated on a large plot with it own pool. The villa is in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of National Park, there is a wooded valley below with cork, eucalyptus and wild flowers.
Beaches are only 10 kilometres away with others also close by. The beaches are beautiful with many sandy coves and stunning coast line. There is lots available to do for those wishing an action packed holiday or just sit back and enjoy the views and wonderful local food and wine.
The villa benefits from underfloor heating and log burner so is suitable for use all year long.

The Southern Plains/Alentejo region
The climate of the Alentejo region is mild and not too hot in the Summer ( high 80's is not unusual). There is a cool Atlantic breeze with beautiful, golden beaches and pretty coastal villages. Nearby places of interest include Sines, birth place of Vasco da Gama and Odemira, a typical small Portuguese town. Within 30 minutes you can be in the Monchique mountains, there are many historical towns nearby.
The local beaches are clean and sandy and have a good choice of places to eat. Local food is good and inexpensive as is the wine. You will not find large tourist developments as the area remains unspoilt and natural, you will be able to enjoy the best of both worlds, wonderful countryside which is protected national park, and the stunning coast line and sandy beaches along the coast.
There are many activities available for you to enjoy e.g. horse riding, fishing, water sports, cycling to name a few.
Odemira area
Odemira is located on the River Mira. The villa is 3 kilometres away on the edge of 'The Costa Vincentina National Park' with spectacular views, the Villa is situated on a large plot with wooded valley below which you can explore. Odemira has the River Mira running through it and is a lovely small town with plenty of restaurants and cafes serving good food and wine.
There are a number of shops and supermarkets within 5 minutes of the property.
How to get there
Any flight to Faro (then 1hour 40 mins drive from Faro).
Ferry to Santander and drive through Spain and Portugal (c 10 hour drive).
Holiday Autos for car hire (there are numerous others too).
