Number 4, Rose Walk, is a quirky, contemporary cottage set within the utterly gorgeous village of Oddington. Tucked away at the end of terrace within shared but private grounds, Number 4 is one of three cottages which have undergone a careful transformation with stylish kitchen, cosy sitting room with large comfrotable sofa and woodburning stove and a large comfortable bedroom with ensuite facilites. The essense of the Cotswolds looms large with beams and the inglenook fireplace so creating a romantic getaway. With an excellent pub literally around the corner you are spoilt for your break. Very private, very cool, very Cotswolds!

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance through to open plan living space.

Living Room with large sofa, armchair, wallmounted flawtscreen TV with Freeview and DVD player, large inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove.

Kitchen full equipped with electric Aga, with four rings, double oven/grill, microwave and dishwasher. (Please note that laundry facilities are located on site - washing machine and tumble drier). There is a super dresser with Emma Bridgewater crockery plus dining table with two chairs.

Upstairs

Large Bedroom with super king size bed (6ft), wardrobe and chest of drawers. Please note that this bed is zip and link and therfore if you wish to have the bed separated please do advise. There is an ensuite bathroom with bath, shower over with WC and washbasin.

Outside

There is a private patio area with table and chairs which is relatively secluded and overlooking the gardens and rose borders. There is ample off street parking.

Heating & Electricity incl all year. Wifi available.

Ample supply of logs.

The villages of Upper and Lower Oddington lie in the gently undulating valley of the River Evonlode two miles east of the market town Stow on the Wold - the highest town in the Cotswolds. Upper Oddington is part of the Oddington Conservation area and is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The honey coloured cottages and houses date back as far as the 16th century and the Church of St Nicholas is 12th century Norman. Visitors to this lovely little church will be rewarded with an opportunity to see the rare Doom fresco.

Upper Oddington is ideal for exploring quintessential English villages, historic houses and gardens and an abundance of superb walks of the surrounding area.

Daylesford Organic Farm with it's shop, resturant, garden centre and it's holistic spa is nearby. The villages of Upper and Lower Slaughter, Bledington and Broadwell are well worth a visit. Stow-on-the-Wold and Morton-in-Marsh cater for all shopping needs whilst Upper Oddington boasts the splendid Horse and Groom Inn and Lower Oddington is the location of the Fox Inn both offering warm hospitality and wonderful food.
