Villa Serenity is a unique Caribbean style home situated in the gated community of Mammee Bay Estate on the out skirts of Ocho Rios where you can find culture crafts, entertainment, inbound shopping, nite clubs etc.
We are just walking distance to the beach where you will find lots to do, a restaurant and bar, massage, crafts, scuba diving and much much more.
The owner, Canadian born, Jan, a friendly senior who shows you real Jamaica hospitality that will make you feel like you are being entertained by a very good, old time friend.

The North Jamaica Coast region
The North Coast of Jamaica is where Columbus first landed. They Say Discovery Bay was the place hence the name. Banana Plantations, Sugar Plantations and Pimento (allspice tree) were the major industry at that time. The north coast has many exciting adventure of past and present. The weather only changes a few degrees from summer to winter.
There are many places to see and enjoy. Some of the highly recommended enjoyment in the Ocho Rios /St. Ann's Bay area; Red Stipe Cruise - offers Dunn's River Falls, Sunset sail and We jammin dinner cruise. You will cherish the memory of sailing the Caribbean sea to Reggae music.
There are several golf courses nearby.
Shopping - Shopping in Ocho Rios can be arranged. You will enjoy first hand culture of the Jamaican people. There are several markets and the farmers market where you can see all the exotic produce (in season/summer) and buy the souvenirs from the local craft vendors or duty free shops and boutiques.
ART - Visit Wassi Art Works, one of our largest and creative pottery studios in Jamaica. Harmony Hall for truly local arts and crafts.
NIGHT LIFE - Jimmy Buffets margaritaville Bar and Grill. A very popular spot for entertainment. There are other nite clubs in Ocho Rios but we recommend Margaritaville.
Tours: Dolphin Cove, Chukka Cove Equestrian Centre, White Water Valley, Green Grotto Caves, Dunn's River Falls, Cranbrook Flower forest, ATV Bike Tour, Jeep Safari, Historical Tours such as Playwrite Noel Cowards historical home, High Hope Eco-tourism Mountain Bike Tour, Helicopter Tours, Water Sports, Deep Sea fishing, Scuba diving.
Ocho Rios / Mamme Bay area
At Villa Serenity you are a short walk to the beach unless you decide to bike there. On the beach you will find restaurant and bar, scuba diving, massage, snorkelling, para sailing, fishing, also craft vendors and horse back riding.
We provide transportation to shop in Ochi, climb the falls, Bobsled, ride the zip line or chairlift to the top Shop and restaurant.
Day trips to Bob Marley Yard, Plantation tours etc. can be arranged.
How to get there
At the airport; you can go to the J.U.T.A. Tour Operators desk and ask for a fare to Mammee Bay Estate. It will cost US$ 20. per person each way.
You can hire a private taxi. Price varies US $100.and up or you can rent your own car. Prices vary.
If you are driving, exit the airport to the east (left). Follow the highway until you see you have approached St. Anns Bay. At this point you are approx. 2 miles to Mammee Bay Estate. Watch for the gate and sign on the left. If you see Riu hotel our gate is side by side the Riu.
Our gate is first. There will be security. Tell them you are coming to Mrs. Campbell at Villa Serenity and they will point you in the right direction. We have a yellow and white house and gate on Debra Court.

Further details indoors: Our rooms are a delight to look at, freshly decorated in a tropical theme. The Misty Forest has king size bed, TV, A/C -Fan and en suite.
The Lilac has a choice of king or twin, A/C - Fan, full bath. Entertain friends in our large open air common area, or relax by the private pool under our Ackee tree.
You may enjoy wondering around the property, enjoying the 13 fruit trees when in season, just pick and eat. You can walk to the beach or perhaps ride the bikes available to our guests.

Please check with us on availability as this calender does not allow us to show availability on more than one room. We also have a single room we do not advertise, but if your party needs an extra room that one could possibly be available.
We are pretty flexible with our guests. Although it states us as a bed and breakfast, we do not mind you using the kitchen. I am sharing my home with you.

Please always check with us re availability as it is not possible to show availability of both rooms, so it may show booked but that may or may not be both rooms. We also have an extra room with a single bed that we don't advertise, but in case their may be 3 or five people we could accommodate them. The single room rents for $50.per day.
