This lovely one bedroom apartment comprises of one double bedroom, living room with double sofa bed and views over the palm lined swimming pool to the spanish mountains. The Rock of Gibraltar region

Gibraltar offers a huge and diverse range of attractions. Steeped in a history from its strategic location at the southernmost tip of the Iberian Peninsula, where Europe meets Africa, visitors can make the moost of amazing scenery, wildlife and architecture, that reveals the unique flavour of this Mediterranean City . As a tax free country, Gibraltar is ideal for that shopping trip. Look out for spirits, cigarettes, perfume and jewellry but do check allowances.

There is a large choice of places to go out in the evening in Gibraltar. Be it dining out for a meal or just a drink there is a wide choice of places to go. Most hotels offer resident cocktail bars, within comfortable and sophisticated surroundings for a quiet drink and some offer live music. If you fancy a more chilled out evening there are many lively cosmopolitan bars and traditional pubs. There is even a casino at Ocean Village.

Casemates Square, in the cebtre of town was once the site of public executions. This is of course long gone and it is now full of fashionable restaurants with alfresco dining, cafés and bars. It is the centre of Gibraltar's nightlife. There is a new leisure centre at King's Bastion on Queensway, with fun for all the family.

The Ocean Village, Gibraltar / Marina Bay area

On the sunny west side of Gibraltar, Ocean Village - Marina Bay is the most sheltered marina in the region. As the ‘Gateway to the Mediterranean’, it provides a base for sailing across the Atlantic or exploring the marinas, coastlines and beaches of Morocco, Spain and Portugal.

The new waterfront 'islands' at Ocean Village are fringed with a wide range of restaurants, bars, boutiques and even a casino. You can enjoy Indian, Brazilian, Spanish and traditional English food.This marina is a favourite stopping point for yachts that may take advantage of the British heritage and enjoy a traditional pint after stocking up on tax-free UK goods.

Several flights daily direct to Gibraltar from London Gatwick, Luton, Manchester and starting soon East Midlands with Esay Jet, Monarch, British Airways and BMI Baby.

1 hour 20 minutes by car (regular coach transfers available) from either Malaga airport on the Costa del Sol or Jerez airport in the provnce of Cadiz making flights available from nearly every UK airport.

“Nice apartment in Marina Bay” Clean and Tidy. Good Location, not too far from Gib town centre. Enjoyed my stay here. A quieter time of year to visit, Its probably a bit too busy in the summertime.
