The Grand Ocean Plaza apartment (constructed in Dec 2009) is located on the mid floor within luxury Ocean Village complex. Its spacious internal area of 83sqm with large 38sqm terrace, affords a sunny aspect throughout the day with stunning views of Rock of Gibraltar.The terrace is accessible from every room and is presented with table and 4 chairs (great for al fresco dining). It's decorated to a high standard and furnished with a modern and comfortable furniture.

You'll love Ocean Village landscaped communal gardens, 5 pools and 7 jacuzzis!!!

One of the pools and the jacuzzi is heated and can be used all year round.

Ideal for holiday makers and corporate clients, also for families and couples who wants to relax in luxury settings, yet it offers plenty of tourist attractions, which are accessible by foot or short drive by taxi or bus (bus station 2 min walk). The Ocean Village Marina has a wide range of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and nightclubs, together with a new Casino. In summer the live music entertains you in selected pubs al fresco.

The tourist’s information centre is situated in Casemates Square, although the info “things to do and see” could be found in the apartment.

The Rock of Gibraltar region

Gibraltar is an amazing place! Just 7 sqm big has something for everyone. It's a popular holiday and business travel destination, and gateway to southern Spain. The Colony has an intriguing culture and fascinating history along with the bonus of a tax-free environment. Gibraltar is full of surprises, from its unusual sand and limestone landscape, to its resident Bay dolphins and a botanical garden to equal the finest in the world.

The things you will want to see in Gibraltar depend of course on your interests. For those who are of a more city-oriented viewpoint, you’ll want to pay a call on the diverse methods of entertainment that the area offers, along with some of the vast array of clubs and night-life type entertainment, while still not missing the many tax free shopping opportunities that Gibraltar has to offer you.

Dolphins seem to love the Gibraltar and use the area waterways as a nursery. Its not at all uncommon to see them playing with their mothers in the waters around Gibraltar. St Michael's cave has been unique and visited since Roman times and during World War II the cave was prepared as an emergency hospital. Gibraltar is near some of the best beaches and golf courses of the Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz.

Gibraltar Weather:
Summer brings an average of 10.5 hours of sunshine a day. Winter can be a mixture of fine, wet and cool weather. On average, only 30% of days are classified as ‘wet’.
Warm throughout the year, with hot summers and mild winters. Summer (May to September) has very little rainy days and practically non in the months of June to August when temperatures can rise to an average of 26ºc. August is also a favourite month for humid days when the Levanter cloud is a frequent visit.

This property is conveniently located within 5 min walking distance to the town centre and Main Street and less than 1 km to Gibraltar Airport and the Spanish border. It is also within walking distance to most of Gibraltar's attractions such as Ocean Village Marina, Queensway Marina, Kings Bastion Leisure Centre, the Cruise Ship Terminal, Casemates Square. Small supermarket Ramsons is round the corner, although Morrisons is10 min walk away.

Apartment is located 5 min away by car from the Gibraltar airport.

The Spanish border is open 24 hours a day for both vehicles and pedestrians. Jerez or Ronda by road takes about one hour; Seville is about two hours away. A fast sea crossing connects Gibraltar with Tangier (Morocco).

“What a gem!” The apartment is spacious, comfortable, modern, and in a great location. Excellent views, convenient to shops and restaurants, and close to the aiport. The owners were incredibly helpful and also prompt in their correspondence before and during our stay. We came to Gibraltar to get married, and this apartment was the perfect retreat for us!

“Caring owner. Great apartment, and lovely location.” we stayed for 6 days in October. I was on business, my wife, and young baby on holiday! We really enjoyed it. Great views from the apartment which were lovely to wake up to. the car park space allocation was brilliant. Take car parking as spaces are a bit tight (like in Spain). Bed was quite comfy and we're fussy about that. Flat generally very modern. Liked the facilities and felt that the owner went the extra mile to make everything comfortable. “A great place from which to explore Gibraltar or to just relax” This condo at Ocean Village was perfect for our family of three. The owners have put a lot of thought into making their guests' stay as comfortable as possible, and the very clean, elegantly decorated property is fully equipped with everything we could need--from all necessary kitchen appliances and utensils, to bathroom amenities, to a clothes washer (and soap), to books and DVDs. When we needed help working the oven (we Americans were not familiar its European operation), they responded quickly to a mid-week email to answer our question. The bedrooms and main living area all have sliding doors that open onto a long, wide balcony (containing a full-size dining table and decorated with many blooming flower pots), which faces The Rock and overlooks Casemates Square. We especially enjoyed watching the light change on The Rock through the day and evening. The swimming area that is part of Ocean Village also made this property especially wonderful, both for our 8-year-old, who could always find friends to swim with, and for us adults, who could always find an umbrella and chairs to relax in. So whether we wanted to just hang by the pool or step out for a walk through town, this was a comfortable, ideally located home away from home. Response: Thank you for a great comments. “Just perfect!” Our family of four (with boys aged 5 and 7) stayed in this apartment for 8 nights i april. The apartment is extremely comfortable, with a very high, modern standard. The booking was easy, and the communication with the owners Agnieska and Peter both before and during the stay was very smooth. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms have a very high standard, and the modern kitchen is very inviting. Best of all is the large terrace/balcony, with comfortable seating and a sun-bed. Access to the apartment (including parking) is very easy, and the neigbours were all very friendly. Peter met us on arrival, and showed us all we needed to see, fixed us access to pools etc. Free wi-fi was fast and steady. We were lucky with the weather, and used the pool area (which we practically had to ourselves) every day. The children loved it, as they could play in the childrens pools for hours. We also went to the beach (Eastern beach or Catalan bay being a 5 min bus ride from just outside the apartment). The surroundings of Ocean Village is good, with plenty of very good restaurants and bars. City centre lies only 2 min walk from the apartment, so the location is perfect for whatever reason one has for staying in Gib. “Just Perfect” We have just returned from a superb time in Gibraltar. Peter and Aga's apartment is perfectly situated in Gibraltar and is spotlessly clean, excellently appointed and is indeed a "home from home". “Fantastic Apartment” My colleague and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this apartment last week. We come out to Gibraltar 3 or 4 times a year for work and usually stay in a Hotel. it was much more relaxing and comfortable for us to come back to the apartment after a long days work and relax before taking the short stroll onto the Marina to eat. The apartment was much bigger than we expected and the balcony is huge, just a pity we didn't have good weather. Maybe next time we will also be able to enjoy relaxing on the balcony. “Comfortable apartment in great location” Thoroughly recommend this apartment (we have 2 boys aged 7 &11) Great communication from the owners. Apartment is stylish but contains all the home comforts you require for a relaxing stay. Open plan kitchen, dining area, lounge works really well. TV has UK channels (terrestrial, Sky Sports and other main Sky channels plus several kids channels e.g. Nickleodeon and Cartoon Network) there + DVD player. The living area (as well as both bedrooms) have sliding doors out to a huge balcony with a table and 4 chairs plus a lounger. we were even able to eat our lunch outside..in February! There are stunning views of the Rock, Casemates Square and Moorish Castle from the balcony - particularly at sunrise and sunset. There was no issue with noise in or outside the apartment - the area doesn't attract a rowdy crowd and we always felt perfectly safe at any time. Across the road is a bus stop where free buses can take you all around Gibraltar. we used them for regular trips to the Botanic Gardens (with a great kids play area), cable cars, beaches as well as a few trips to Morrisons supermarket - although there are several local supermarkets for top ups. “Fantastic location, Fantastic property, Fantastic hosts” From the moment we booked the property, the owners were fantastic. On arrival, they had made sure the kitchen was stocked with the necessities, and even left a bottle of wine in the fridge as a welcoming gift. Location wise, you're a few minute walk from both the airport and Main St. The Ocean Village marina has a large selection of restaurants (Pizza Express, KFC, and a modern Indian restaurant to name a few), the Gala Casino (modern, full of slots, poker tables and a busy bingo hall) and some great bars. I was worried about any noise from the marina, but I needed not, the property is on the other side - facing the rock - and away from the bustling bars beneath - very peaceful! The property was furnished to a very high standard, the view from the huge terrace of the rock is stunning, and most importantly the property was spotless. My partner is Spanish, so the fact we got both Sky TV and Spanish TV in the property was an added bonus. Of all the properties we looked at Gibraltar, this was also one of the cheapest, and yet seems better than many of the other more expensive properties. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone! “Luxurious appartment,10* facilities and super owners who have thought of everything!” As a well travelled and seasoned traveller, used to 1st class and well appointed facilities...I have to say that this wonderful appartment ticks all the boxes!! Fab location and the facilities are top notch. One feels as if their every need has been taken care off...from the welcome refreshment pack, toiletries, the ease of using all the home gadgets....why they have even left novels, magazines and dvds for our perusal. The terrace is bigger than i thought and just the ticket for ending a day of sightseeing in Gib or in Spain/Morrocco....and the creature comforts of comfy beds has far exceeded the standards I have encountered in some 5* hotels!! So a big thank you to Agnieszka and Peter, the owners for thinking of every little detail...just let us know when you own properties worldwide and we shall go there too!! we will return....Thank you so much !
