Holiday house in a small town, only 7kms from the Portuguese west coast. There are very nice beaches nearby which are deserted even in the Summer months (owner's tips), and you can enjoy great views as well as awesome and cheap gastronomy in the small towns in the area. Good supermarkets are less than 4 kms away. Very good fishmarket and fruit street market daily at 5 kms. Horse riding school connection.
There is a small garden in front of the house, fields to the side and a private patio where holiday makers can enjoy the sunshine and store their surfboards.

The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast region
Sea, lagoon, beach, spa, shopping, culture, and Portuguese history can all be found nearby. Via the new A8, A15 or A17 highways that you can reach easily, and at an hour driving, you find yourself in Lisbon, Sintra or in the university city of Coimbra.
In the area you can find beautiful deserted beaches in August.
Obidos / Caldas da Rainha area
Caldas da Rainha was founded by queen D. Leonor, who stayed here for the thermal waters that cured the people living around here in the XV century. Caldas is very known by the pottery made here. It is in one of the best Portuguese fruit regions. Óbidos, 10 kms away from the house is one of the most beautiful villages in Portugal, inside the stone walls of a castle, filled with tradition and baroque churches. In the small villages around you can find all the best Portuguese gastronomy with superb quality for prices you wont believe. Wine cellars are found also in the near surroundings. Campo is a very quiet small town, which keeps the Portuguese old way of living in the country side. A horse riding school is connected with the Casa's owner.

Fly to Lisbon - CasaCampoSerra is less than one hour driving from Lisbon Airport using A8 highway, at 90kms. CasaCampoSerra is 4kms away from the A8 Caldas da Rainha North exit. Cheap flights available at www.rumbo.com or www.terminala.com.

Further details indoors: House renewed in June 2009, fully furnished, ready to live in and spend great holidays. The owner knows very well all the region and will give fine tips about what to visit and where or when to go, if holiday makers wish so.
Further details outdoors: You will have a small garden in the house's front. Two of the house sides is surrounded by agricultural lands, fig trees, apple trees, and more. The other leads to a big patio with a big vine, where holiday makers can enjoy the sun and clean air. It is a good place to keep surfboards. Near the house, there are fine places to do great walks in the forests or along the lagoon. Cycling treks also nearby.

English-speaking representative on hand to answer any questions and to give all the tips you might need. Several restaurant cards to advise the best ones for you. Very good typical Portuguese food (meat/fish) in very cheap restaurants. Photos of the surroundings will be available for you to help you choose the places you would like to visit.
Conditions
Smoking is allowed in the patio or in the front garden of the house, but not inside. No stairs - the house is all ground floor. 30% rental fee due before your stay to secure booking. 70% due at arrival day.
