Welcome to our holiday home! Set in the midst of the golf resort area of the beautiful silver coast. We have taken pride in furnishing the villa to the highest standards, in keeping with the high quality of the villas extensive marble, stone and hardwood finishing. For those of you who think that golf is 'the waste of a good walk' and would much prefer to take it easy and lounge beside the pool, the villa enjoys a fabulous secure shared pool with an 'infinity' pool corner, waterfall and children's pool together with extensive sunbathing areas. Please enjoy investigating the beautiful and medieval town of Obidos, and the beautiful seaside towns all over the silver coast.

Perola da Lagoa is a new golfing development, situated in a huge expanse of pine forest nestling on the edge of the huge Lagoa de Obidos. 5 minutes drive takes you to the award winning Praia Del Rey golf resort. Adjacent to this the 5 star Marriott hotel and Spa. 10 minutes drive takes you to Obidos: a medieval, walled town where you can find exquisite restaurants and bars, cobbled streets with tiny cottages draped in wisteria and bourgenvillea. Beaches: 2 minute drive away. Miles of white sand and surf, attracting surfers from far afield. Surfing bars and restaurants can be found in Foz De Arelio and towards Peniche, which is a coastal fishing town famous for its seafood restaurants.

Local activities include cycling, diving, fishing, golf, mountain biking, roller blading, sailing, surfing, swimming, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing

How to get there

FROM LISBON AIRPORT As you leave the airport you will come to a large roundabout with traffic lights. Take the first available right off this roundabout. (Signed 2 Circular). This will bring you up onto an urban motorway. Within 1.5 kms you will pick up the blue motorway signs indicating the A8 to Loures/Leiria. Follow this. Keep on this motorway for approximately 73 kms picking up signs for Torres Vedras, Lourinha, Bombarral, Peniche, Obidos and Caldas da Rainha. Leave at the Saida /Exit 13 signed Peniche. Immediately there is a T-junction, turn left. Follow for 2km under a bridge and take the next left again signed Peniche. Follow this regional road, N114, until you enter Amoreira. There you will hit a set of lights at which you make a right following signs for Vau and Bom Sucesso. Keep on this road until you reach a roundabout. Continue through, in the direction of Bom Sucesso, until you reach a Pérola da Lagoa sign. Turn right and follow until you reach the site.

This new Villa, built in October 2006 is situated on the 'Perola da Lagoa' resort on the edge of Obidos Lagoon in the heart of the 'Silver Coast' region. It is ideally placed three miles from the Championship 'Praia del Rey' golf resort and a mile from the 'Bom Successo' golf resort. The villa enjoys beautiful lagoon views and is a ten minute drive from the historic medieval town of Obidos itself. All finishing and furnishings are to an extremely high standard. The villa also enjoys a large secure shared swimming pool (50m) with waterfall, children's pool, and a large sunbathing area

Further details

The Villa will be cleaned for you on check in and will be cleaned after your departure, if your stay is longer than a week, the villa will be cleaned and linen changed each week. It is appreciated when a guest leaves the unit tidy and as clean as is convenient. If you have a housekeeping emergency, or wish to pay for additional cleaning services, please let me know.

Conditions

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 200 Euro is required. If you cancel 15 or more days prior to arrival, payments (less 50%) are refunded. Owner accepts payments by: Bank transfer or personal cheque.

Weekly cleaning fee of 80 Euro, including all bed linen and towel changeover.
