About the home

This is a beautiful new villa in a lovely quiet rural location in the pine forests of the Perola da Lagoa resort, overlooking the Obidos lagoon, and just a 2 min. drive or short walk to several stunning beaches. It is a 15 min. drive from the lovely medieval town of Obidos, and the coastal towns of Peniche, Foz d'Arelho and Baleal offer great surfing and fish restaurants. The famous Praia d'el Rey golf course, and several others are close-by, as well as the market town of Caldas da Rainha. The new walking/ cycling path is just a few mins. walk from the villa, which takes you around the beautiful lagoon.

The villa has its own garden, balconies and BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining. With 4 bedrooms, it is ideal for one or two families, or several couples, with lots to see & do in this very diverse area.

There are 2 camp-beds and a cot available for children, as well as a high chair. Depending on the number of people in the villa there may be a small extra charge for these.
We also have some games, books, beach toys available to use.

Prices in UK Pounds, but Euros are also accepted. Stays of less than 1 week (min 3 nights) welcome, subject to availability. Special rates may be available for periods of 3 weeks or more - please contact us for details

Cleaning / towels/ linen / maid service: The Villa + all linen/towels will be cleaned for arrival. If your stay is longer than a week the villa will be cleaned and linen/towels changed each week. If you wish to pay for additional cleaning services please let us know.

The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast/Central Portugal region

This region has miles of stunning unspoilt coastline, great surfing beaches, quiet sandy bays, and historic towns and villages. It has a lovely warm climate, and the gentle sea breeze ensures it is never uncomfortably hot in the summer.

Within an easy drive, for a nice day-trip, the region boasts the beautiful towns of Sintra, Cascais & Alcobaca.
The Silver Coast is a wonderfully unspoilt region which has something to offer everyone. From lazy days enjoying the local food, drink and sunshine, to more active days – choosing a different activity everyday of the week if you want!

The Obidos / Bom Sucesso area

The beautiful medieval walled town of Obidos is not to be missed, with its cobbled streets and quaint restaurants and shops. The coastal towns of Peniche, Baleal and Foz d'Arelho all offer great beaches, surf bars, and fish restaurants. Sao Martinho do Porto is set around a lovely bay, with great views, watersports & shops.

A very wide range of activities is available: Walking, Cycling, Swimming, Water-park, Windsurfing, Surfing, Kite-surfing, Sailing, Canoeing, Golf, Tennis, Fishing, Horse-riding, Diving (off the Berlengas Islands), Go-Karting. Lessons for many activities are available from local schools for children and adults.

Many events are held in Obidos, including open-air operas, the Festival of Chocolate, and religious festivals.
