Home description

The Villa is set on a mountain overlooking a valley with breathtaking mountain forest views. This modern split level villa has spacious rooms. There are four bedrooms, two twin rooms and two double rooms with king size beds and fitted wardrobes, the master bedroom has en-suite and overlooks the pool and valley. There are three bathrooms, a separate games room with a full size pool table, dart board (felcro), body boards, lilos, rings etc. Private heated pool.

There is also a separate LCD TV for the Playstation and board games available. In the large living/dining room area 460 sq ft, there are two leather sofas, a LCD 32’ TV satellite (free view), stereo/CD player, DVD player and DVDs. There is a separate hall, kitchen, and utility room. Outside there are terrace areas with table and chairs to seat 8 people, a swing chair, 8 sun loungers, large surrounding gardens to sit and relax in. The patio and pool area receive full sun all day. Within a 5-20 min drive you can avail of Golf, go-karting, bowling, surfing, tennis, fishing and many other facilities.

The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast region

There are a number of beaches 15-20mins drive away from the Villa, these include the bay of Sao Martinho do Porto and Foz d'Arellho, ideal for families. Nazare town and beach is worth a visit and a trip on the tram takes you to the hilltop with breathtaking views. The surfing beaches of Baleal and Penice and the water park makes a great day out. You can also avail of the beautiful Obidos lagoon for fishing, water sports, and boating.

The town of Obidos holds a number of festivals throughout the year. These include the medieval festival in July which cannot be missed, the town of Obidos comes alive with locals displaying medieval costume and shows, food and dance. The highlight being a stroll around the medieval village with its display of entertainment, local crafts, food and great wine. Also in July is the famous wine festival in Bombarral. The Christmas festival held from December to January will have the kids in amazement as it feels like a magic kingdom, with Christmas trees and lights lining the cobbled streets, artificial snow and the castle walls covered in a band of Christmas lights, you can skate on the ice rink or wiz down the snow slides, It is a wonderful place to be in to ring in the new year. There is also a chocolate festival in February where everything is made out of chocolate, life size chocolate statues on view and of course chocolate to eat and drink.

Obidos / Caldas da Rainha area

Close to Obidos Castle and Caldas da Rainha with shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants and Golf courses. Fabulous unspoilt beaches 12km away. Lake nearby. Go Karts, water park. museums, cimema (English) and many other activities.

Within a 5-20 min drive you can avail of Golf, go-karting, bowling, surfing, tennis, fishing and many other facilities.

Please note changeover day is Saturday during peak times otherwise flexible. Check-in 4pm and check out 10am
