About the home

This 3 bedroom villa is situated at the golfing development of Perola Da Lagoa overlooking the beautiful Obidos lagoon, only 10 minutes from Praia Del Rey. Inside the villa French doors lead on to the private garden and patio area with brick BBQ and outside sink. Beside the patio is a stunning swimming pool with beach entry and cascade waterfall. The pool is tastefully surrounded by palm trees and decking.

There is an entrance hall, downstairs cloakroom, fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. Open plan dining room / sitting room with wood burner, Sat TV, DVD, CD. 3 beds (1 dbl with en suite and 2 twins). 1 family bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower. 2 of the 3 beds have large balconies. The balcony from the master bedroom overlooks the lagoon. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes, integral drawers, pillows, quilts, quality bed linen and towels. A burglar alarm, security safe, security shutters, solid wood flooring upstairs and fully tiled downstairs.

The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast/Central Portugal region

Only twenty minutes by car is the historic medieval walled town of Obidos, boasting cobbled streets, quaint shops, wine tasting, a castle, and the bougainvillea that adorns all the houses in summertime. Obidos also hosts alfresco operas at certain times of the year and a mediaval tournament, which really are amazing against the backdrop of the medieval town. A very diverse area.

The Obidos / Perola da Lagoa area

Perola Da Lagoa is a new golf development nestled within a pine forest overlooking the beautiful Obidos lagoon. Close by is the famous golf resort of Praia Del Rey, and the new golf resort of Bom Succeso. The area does not only benefit from stunning golf courses, but also breathtaking beaches with miles of sand and surf. In fact the area attracts surfers from many areas, hence there are some really nice surf bars serving delicious local food, scattered along the coastline towards the fishing town of Peniche. This area is famous for its fish restaurants which line the road by the fishing port, and you really are spoilt for choice.

Golfers: Praia Del Rey course is approx 10 mins drive. Access to communal pool also available. Bom Successo G.C is 5 mins away and a third course Royal Obidos is under construction. Any specific requests, please email me.

Lisbon airport is around 50 mins away and most european budjet airlines fly into Lisbon including
easyjet from 3 UK destinations. You can drive there from all european countries and I have driven twice from the U.K and it is a 19 hour trip with 2 stopovers, but through some stunning scenery.
Lisbon airport has most car hire companies, but please contact us and we will give you some companies with the best rates.

"This villa is the best equipped that we have ever rented. It is comfortable and modern with everything provided that you could need.It is in a very peaceful and beautiful location ,although development is going on at a fast rate so this could change.The nearest supermarket is 15 to 20 minutes drive away so it is necessary to plan ahead for self-catered meals.There are ,however, a wide variety of reasonably priced restaurants within easy driving distance.The property is clean and well-maintained.We would recommend it to anyone. "The villa is perfect, nothing is needed as everything is provided for your holiday. Very modern and easy to keep clean, nice airy feel to villa. Wonderful views from front balcony. Garden now matured and is a beautiful place to eat, relax or just catch some sun with plenty of room for kids to play on the grass.
It is a little far from amenities and a car is needed, however the area is being developed so this will probably all change and there may be cafes, restaurants etc within walking distance in due course. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay. " May 2008
