About the home

This is a brand new Villa located in Bom Sucesso Perola da lagoa, about 1km from Lagoa de Óbidos and Bom Sucesso beach,It takes 3minutes driving to the beach. It is a very spacious house. The house is very well decorated and furnished.

There is a beach only a 3 minutes drive away. There are also nice places to go for a walk and discover this fantastic area.... The beach is on the end of the lagoon, the water is clear and the sand is bright, and you can see the fish very well on the lagoon. The area is very nice for children. I am Portuguese and I love this location, as we have lots of places to visit, for every 20 minute drive you have different places to see - beach, town, and a castle, so make sure you stay a long time in order to discover this beautiful area of Portugal, I definitely recommend it to any one!

This is a fantastic and lovely home very modern and with a home filing!
I just would like to say if you like water sport, its perfect, there is big lagoon on back of the house perfect for Kite surf!! My husband loves kite surf... if you would like more information please just ask.

The kitchen is very well equipped so you will find everything you need!! On the first floor the 1st bedroom has views of the lagoon of Obidos and a big balcony. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and an en suite, with shower, and big balcony. The 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds and t.v.. The floors are wood which is very cosy, there is also a bathroom with hydro massage bathtub! The house has a great garden. The yard has a barbecue., and there is a brand new pool with 9meters long. It's an excellent, and beautiful, house!

It has capacity for 6 persons. It's a 1st floor house. The ground floor is open plan, with dining room and living room common, with 2 sofas, fireplace, table with 6 chairs and 2 big 40 inch LCD television with international channels.!!

The house has a great garden.,and a brand new pool.The yard has a perfect area with nice BB Q. Lights on the garden for the night time.. there is 2 sun loungers, lots of chairs table and nice place to park the car. It's an excellent house to have nice vacation.

You have a nice view from one bedroom plus big balcony and view of the lagoon of Obidos. The
house is very close to lagoon. and at the end of lagoon there is a great beach which is breathtaking.

Surf lesson
hi there, we now would like to inform that if you would like to learn how to surf, we know a company witch can pick you up at the villa and dropp you of, includ childrens or adults,
any one that wont's to learn.
they also have insurance its about 3h 30m each time, include pick up and drop of at the villa. They speack ingles, they are all very nice people.
lesson costs about 22 euros each per person with insurance. a very good price. they have lesson during the moning and afftenoon.
We just bein there and this is the best deal and best campany.
if you wont more detail please just ask.

We will ask for 50% deposit when booking. Balance to be paid one week before holiday commences, and a 200 pound for warranty will be returned one week after leave the house.

Will give you a nice discount for people (stay longer then 2 weeks) or long term rental.

The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast/Central Portugal region

This coast line is just superb, with lots of beach all around - but the best is Bom Sucesso beach. The Beach is at the end of lagoon which is just wonderful, with clear water, and bright sand, very clean, and not many people. There are some waves. It's a wonderful beach which goes on for several kilometres!!

This is a breathtaking lagoon of obidos, 2 minutes walk away, which lies in perola da lagoa. A place where nature finds the perfect balance between the quite waters of the largest and most beautiful lagoon in Europe and the abundant green of the many pine trees of this area. Perola da lagoa is at a region where the myths of the past blend with the natural splendour.

Far from the city's restlessness. Seize the opportunity to escape from daily routine. Staying at my villa will make your holiday just perfect!

The Obidos / Bom Sucesso area

Amazing places to look around:
Praia del Rei, golf resort is very famous and is only 10 minutes drive away.

Cycle and Sailing information: There is now a full cycle track that goes all around the lagoon and is 2 minutes from our house. On the other side of the laguna There is a Sailing/ Wind surfing / kite surfing club and if you contact them they will come over to collect you.

Golf information: Praia del Rey golf is 10 minutes away. As you exit Perola Da Lagoa turn right. There is a large left hand turn after about 5 mins and Praia del Rey is signposted from here. Take left turn and follow signs. Bom Successo Golf course is now open and is the closest to the Villa, around 5 mins. Exit Perola turn left and the entrance to Bom Sucesso is 2 K on right hand side, it is very well signposted.

Baleal is a nice beach fantastic for surfing, with lots of pubs on the beach and a surf school,lots of surf competitons, only 20 minutes drive away.

Peniche is a nice fish town, with a long beach and nice history... fresh fish market, restaurants, shops there is also a nice water park open in the summer/ Its about 30 minutes away.

Obidos is a fantastic castle to visit - very old place, nice place to walk around and eat something.15 minutes drive.

Areia Branca is another nice beach.

Foz do Arelho is the other side of the lagoon, its wonderful and next to it is Caldas da Rainha ,a nice Town with a nice park to go to where you can rent little boats. Lots of shops and a big shopping place, fresh fish and fresh market every morning on the centre also there is a market every Monday morning, cheap clothes, shoes, etc.

Sao Martinho has a beautiful bay, little shops, & a good restaurant.

You can visit a different place each day!!

And of course make sure you go eat at lavrador do Vale, restaurant of Bela and Rui at Vale Bemfeito ( on main road) a little village after praia del Rei. They also acept order to take away, with you, They do the best fresh and popular food of the area at great prices!! At night it is very quiet and relaxing. Also if you like kite surf, my husband is very happy to give you all the information because he loves kite surf!! The lagoon is perfect is very big, lots of space to everyone!

And if you like big cities Lisbon its about 50 minutes drive, there is a big zoo, lots of shops and is also a historic part. Important historical visits to Villages as Óbidos, Praia Del Rei, Baleal, peniche, Foz do Arelho , Caldas da Rainha, Nazare, praia da areia branca and city of Lisbon... its a lovely area to enjoy!!

“A really lovely villa” We loved staying in the villa. It was modern, clean and comfortable. The two single beds were so wonderful our boys struggled to get out of them! The house has all the things you need in it and the BBQ outside was great. The area is quiet and peaceful and with a car it was easy to get to lots of different interesting places. A Sat nav is an absolute must though!

“A Hidden Gem in a Stunning Part of Portugal” We've just spent an very relaxing week (beginning of August 2011) in this wonderful villa. It is incredibly comfortable and very well furnished and decorated. The outside space is private, with a traditional brick-built BBQ and lovely, new swimming pool. The local area is stunning, a hidden part of Portugal that we shall definitely be visiting again. A short walk from the villa is the Lagoon of Obidos, with a path that loops the lagoon and takes you to the nearest village and beaches from where you can see the Atlantic meeting the lagoon. The beaches are very child friendly and surprisingly uncrowded. Teresa was really helpful, both at the booking stage, suggesting where to fly from and who with and also in the lead up to us going away, providing us with lots of useful information about the local area, where to find the supermarkets, when and where to find the local markets and which places were worth visiting. The walled city of Obidos is a definite must to visit as is Peniche and Caldas. We only wish that we had spent longer than a week away but that's all the more reason for returning! Thanks Teresa, we had a brilliant holiday.

“Marvelous holidays in amazing villa” Our holidays were fantastic and were the greatest one we have had from long time. We have spent wonderful time in villa. The villa is comfortable equipped, tastefully furnished and has its own remarkable charm. The look of the villa and countryside are much better then was presented in advert. We have explored large part of the beautiful country but the Obidos will remain the most exciting and unforgettable place. Beautiful villa is situated ca. 100 km from Lisbon on west coast and makes a great choice for families or friends looking to explore this part of the country. There's so much culture and history to experience as well as the superb weather and gorgeous beaches and countryside. The great thing is it's all family friendly too. Guestbook for Beautiful Villa, near beach

Lovely accommodation, very well looked-after and appointed, and in a great setting. Nice beach with safe bathing is within easy walking distance, and other beautiful places within 20 or 30 minutes - we particularly loved San Martinho de Porto. The owner was very helpful with advice before we had our holiday. There is a small shop in the local village, down some stairs by a bar which sells all the necessities (the shopkeeper doesn't speak any English but is really helpful!). We had a great time (July 2010) and are very likely to return.

hello! Just to let you know the more you rent, the cheaper it will be, if you would like to stay more than 2 weeks or months let me know and we can talk about a price change!! Also water, electricity, gas, tax, heating, gardening its all inclusive in the price.
