On the West Coast of Scotland, on one of the most beautiful Loch in Argyll, one finds Melfort Pier & Harbour, just 16 miles south of Oban.

Dockmaster is right on the shore of Loch Melfort, where the Highlands come down to the peaceful so tranquille.

It is a two bed room house, all on one level with large doors, parking right by the front door. We can make it into two doubles or a double and two singles. The masterbedroom has an ensuite bath room with a spa bath /shower / toilet and sink, The second bedroom has a rolling shower, with toilet and sink. It has a Private SAUNA !!!! Two digital TV's. Log fire, with a free basket of fire wood on arrival, FREE 24 hour Wifi....There is free Fishing for our private Pier. We might have some last minute specials.......

Stay a day or a month, There is a discount for just 2 people. Pets are very welcome, 2 per house. Wheel chair accessible.

We also have one bed room suites.

Bring your RIB , kayak or wind surfer, you have your own dock in our small private harbour.

A bigger boat??? We have 15 moorings. Share a mooring and a house.

We are 16 miles south of Oban, great shopping and it is the gate way to the Isls. There are great pub's and restaurants nearby. Golf, horse riding, boat hire, boat trips, castles,

We are located on the West Coast of Scotland, just 3 hours North from the centre of Glasgow, and 3 hours from Edinburgh.

Loch Melfort is in Argyll, just 16 miles South of Oban.

Close enough to do good shopping, or to go out on the boats to the outer islands. We are an ideal touring base for the Highlands and Island. Great historical sites and gardens, and distilleries.

We are 2 miles from the main is very peaceful here, you can hear the birds,

We have lots of wild life , otters, deer, the red squirrel, the brown eagle, hearons, geese, etc. different kind of wild flowers. The hill walking is superb...just you and your dogs......We have a private Pier for our guests to fish from, you can catch the best mackerel, then BBQ it in your own garden.

I just cannot put in words how green and beautiful it is here, you have to come and see it, feel it, smell it.

This is the place to unwind and return to your innerself.

The Melfort Pier, it is never too hot ot too cold as we are right on the ocean with it warm currant. Winter 2 c. summer 22.c


Argyll, what can I say , people have live in this area here for over thousand of years. There are more then 800 prehistoric and historic sites, with in one hours and where from Melfort Pier. Burial cairns, rock carvings, standing stones, stone circles, medieval castles, ancients grave stones deplicting warriors, early Christian crosses and abbies, and the fortress of the earliest Scottish Kings.

Melfort Pier & Pier, is famous for their warmth of it hospatality, breath taking scenery, wild coast lines, ancient oak forests and an amazing variety of wild life. melfort Pier is a friendly and accessible family destination for all ages.

There are many places to drink and eat. We are a year round holiday place. A range of year arouhnd holiday activiies, forest / hill walks, boat trips, golf , horse riding, mountain bikes, 4x4 car track,.

"Amazing place"

We are students from China and very happy to spend our summer holiday in this beautiful harbor. We lived in moorings which is the best lodge we ever stayed. Everything seems to be perfect, clean rooms… More
