The cottage is fully equipped in a comfortable and relaxed style with the lounge/diner with TV, large sofas on which to relax and the dining table seating 6 this area opens out onto a conservatory with views over Cuilfail Wood. Also there is also a small sitting room which is ideal if you want to escape for a quiet time from the rest of your guests has a PC access to the Internet, stereo system, TV and also you can relax in comfort to read from a selection of books.
The kitchen has a small welcome pack for when you arrive and is fully equipped with all you need to cater for yourself during your stay and also has a small breakfast table where you can sit and watch the local birds feeding outside the kitchen window.

Each guest will have a supply of towels and the beds are made ready with all the necessary linen so there is no need to bring your own.

A car is essential for this area to visit the many attractions that Argyll has to offer from ancient standing stones in Kilmartin Glen, rhe National Trust Gardens of Arduaine. Inverary is close enough for a day out visiting the old world Jail and the famous Inverary Castle, Further afield is is the fantastic scenery of the the Mull of Kintyre. An easy day trip to Fort William and Fort Augustus and Loch Ness
Visit the many Highland Games in Argyll from the beginning of July
While the Oban has the local ferries running regularly to the Isle of Mull and Iona.
The area of Kilmelford is ideal for those who want a walking/cycling holiday and to escape from the stress of modern day living. Close to the coast but still within the countryside.
Come at the end of August and visit the Argyll Gathering, late September you have the International Stone Skimming Competition on the small island of Easdale.
Don't forget to bring a Waterproof Jacket as the weather can be unpredictable all year round from blazing sunshine to rain. The winter we very rarely et snow.
