Situated to the rear of the townhouse the air conditioned lounge is spacious and tastefully decorated, the high quality furniture is complemented with chic fittings and a flat screen LCD TV and DVD. The modern furniture is offset with chic fittings and a flat-screen plasma television.
Patio and Veranda
Whether you enjoy 'al fresco' dining or just lounging in the early evening sun, Villa Hoya 14 can accommodate both. The ground floor patio area is ideal for eating 'al fresco' where a large dining table with parasol seats 6 people in comfort.
The second floor veranda, which is accessible from both bedrooms provides plenty of space for you to relax and lounge around whilst enjoying a glass of wine in the warmth of the evening sun.

The en-suite master bedroom features air conditioning and a brand new king sized double bed and built-in wardrobes. The decorations, fixtures and fittings are chic and simple and the room is light and airy with double door windows leading you out on to the spacious veranda terrace. Linen provided.

The modern, fully fitted kitchen has all the mod cons that a family could ever wish for and need to make their stay an enjoyable one! Equipped with top brand appliances and finished with granite work tops and brushed steel accessories the kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. The beech cupboard doors and trims coupled with the steel fronted fridge freezer, microwave and washer help to give the kitchen a clean and modern look.

Grounds and swimming pool area.
The town houses have a gate leading you into the communal garden and pool area.
The swimming pool is usually open between May to September.
There is ample parking in the grounds of the complex.
Rentals include linen, towels, point of contact, welcome pack, meet and greet hot and cold air conditioning. (Utility bills extra for long stays).
On stays longer than 10 days there will be a linen change (does not apply to short stays, available at extra charge).
Cot and high chair available.
Air conditioning and heating is available at an additional charge, this must be booked in advance.
The Andalucia region

The clubhouse has a fantastic range of services including fine food and drink, a friendly atmosphere and of course great golf on one of the most picturesque courses on Spains southern coast.

The Costa De La Luz is an uncrowded area of Andalucia that offers a true insight into the “real Spain”. Nuevo Portil enjoys excellent weather all year round with temperatures passing 300 degrees centigrade in the summer and yet still reaching 13 degrees centigrade during the winter. With over 300 days of sunshine each year the area is ideal for the perfect holiday.
The nearby area has many attractions including: the beautiful city of Seville and the Coto de Donana National Park. The park covers a vast area of 193 square miles and, in 1994, was first included in the list of World Heritage sites. Further inland, the Sierra de Aracena was declared a natural park in 1989 and is ideal for trekking along the many marked trails.
Huelva, situated only 18 kilometres form the complex, has a wide variety of shopping including the department store: El Corte Ingles. The city retains its traditional maritime air. On the outskirts, at La Rabida, you can visit the ‘Calendaro Azteca’, the monument to Columbus which was donated by the USA in 1982. The monastery of La Rabida is where Columbus’s ideas were talked through, voyages planned and final details worked out. The building is open all year round to visitors.
The most visited attraction in Huelva is Muelle de las Carablelas, a wharf where you can see replicas of the Pinta Nina and and the Santa Maria which Columbus sailed when he discovered America. One of the most bizarre features of Huelva is a whole quarter designed by English Architects, called the Barrio Reina Victoria. It was constructed by the Rio Tinto Mining Company in the early 20th Century to house British workers.
The nearest local supermarket is only a 10 minutes walk away or 5 minutes by car. The larger hypermarkets are in Cartaya (the nearest toiwn) or in Huelva.
Locally, there is a fresh bread shop, ice cream parlour, pizzeria, a bar and restaurant which is only 10 minutes walk away along the beach front. Across the main beach road there is a restaurant and bar with a children’s play area in the front ground to keep the kids happy.
There is a paved walkway all the way leading into El Portil with pleanty of seating along the way. On the road to Cartaya there is a karting Track which is opened all year round and an aqua park,open in the high season. Cartaya has a paved shopping mall area with several banks and a great selection of Tapas bars.
El Rompido is only a mile from El Portil along the coast road or a good stroll along the beach front which is backed by sand dunes, pine woods and a unique juniper grove. Horse riding is available there either per hour or per day.
There is a new complex, adorned with thatched roofs, containing designer boutiques and excellent bars and coffee shops where in the evening you can witness the famous ‘Coast of Light’ sunset.
In the many restaurants along the beach front you can also sample a fine selection of fresh seafood. The area is also very popular with the Spanish people of Huelva, Seville and Madrid, which is always a good sign that the food is excellent!

"An authentic Spanish beach holiday - great value for money"
In July my family of two adults, three children (8, 6 and 2) and one grandparent stayed at the complex for a three week holiday. On arrival after midnight the key did not fit the gate so fearing the worst I rang our contact agent. Literally, within two minutes Suzanne arrived and let us in - that's what I call service! The property is well equipped with everything you could need to cater for a family. Good quality mattresses, pillows, black out shutters and a decent shower are all the little comforts that make a difference. Also, beach chairs, beach towels and even some buckets and spades. The private outdoor terrace leads directly via a gate onto a grassed area which gave our children great freedom to play with other kids in safety as we could see them while sipping a glass of wine (very important!). From here it is a tiny stroll to the clean, well maintained baby and adult pools fully supervised by a lifeguard.
A short walk about 10/15 minutes will take you to El Portil and the first restaurant you meet the local Pizza Parlour is very good. A mixture of restaurants, tapas bars, bumper cars and stalls await you. The Surf bar has a lovely area at the back with a small playground. I would feel a car is essential to make the most of the area. The beach at Fashion is just 10 minutes by car and really stunning compared to the local. A great trip via a small ferry to La Flecha - a sandbar only accessible by boat fired the children's imaginations! El Rompido is also a short drive away. The water park Aqualopolis was a fabulous day out for both kids and adults - much more relaxing that its Portugese counterpart (discount tickets are given at Carrefour supermarket and McDonald's which save you a fortune!). Karting nearby was set up well. Huelva city is worth a visit and Cartaya is a sleepy quintessential Spanish town.
El Portil is a very Spanish resort and thus it is helpful to bring a phrase book. Also, the food is of a different format. We found emulating the Spanish way of life by eating a main meal at 3 pm (siesta time) and then tapas and drinks later was the best option.
We found the house good value, well maintained and modern and would have no hestiation in recommending.
