Home description

A new town house situated on the 14th hole of Nuevo Portil golf course, El Portil is located on one of the most unspoilt coasts in spain situated next to a nature reserve.
The beach is only 5 minutes walk away and is ideal for children, with local shops cafe's restaurants and banks also only 5 minutes walk away.

The Costa de la Luz / Huelva Province region

The areas climate is regulated by the coast so it doesn't get too hot in summer 25-35c not 40 plus Seville and other inland areas often suffer from.
It is one of the sunnest places in Europe so with this you can expect very little rain.


Nuevo Portil area

Situated on the coast 15 mins drive from Huelva, El Portil offers clean white sandy beaches ideal for families and people who enjoy water sports, fishing or boating.
There is 1 golf course in Nuevo Portil and 1 in El Rompido (10 minutes drive).
If you enjoy walking there are many beach walks along the coast.
Seville is 1hr 20min drive away and well worth a visit


How to get there

El Portil is situated on the cost half way between Seville and Faro airports, both these airports are serviced by low cost airlines with Easy Jet flying from most parts of the UK to Faro along with FlyBe Jet2 Monarch TAP and British Airways.
Seville Airport is serviced by Ryan air, Iberia and British Airways.
To get to and from these airports allow 1hr 20min by car, Faro is the easiest drive, Seville is ok but the roads are alot busier.
It is possible to use the bus from Seville airport to Huelva costing approximately 12 euros per person.
