The Sicily region
This area of Sicily is very unspoilt and offers a very traditional view of Sicilian life. For very little money you can get a very economical and authentic taste of Sicilian food. The beaches in Vendicari are beautiful and the people are kind and very friendly. The main tourists in the summer are Italians.
Noto area
Noto is a beautiful, unsophisticated Baroque city. It is home to the world's best cafe, as quoted by none other than the New York Times- Cafe Sicilia. There are a host of architectural sites to visit within the area, as well as the beautiful unspoilt beaches within the Vendicari nature reserve.

Guestbook for Il Mulino
Katie Morris, UK l 03.07.2009
We had the most wonderful week at Il Molino. It is a very special spot and you have made the little house so comfortable. We are most grateful that you let us share your home. It definitely felt more like a home and not at all like a “holiday let” and we enjoyed every minute of the peach and solitude (not to mention the fresh orange juice off the trees). The weather was brilliant – not a cloud in the sky the entire 7 days and around 30-35 degrees. We would very much like to return to Il Molino one day as it is a great place to relax and get some sun. Meanwhile I hope you have many happy times there – it is special! With kindest regards

Fantastic, well-equipped villa with views of the valley towards the sea. Much to explore by walking in the local area. Excellent as a base to visit the wonderfully historic towns such as Noto and Siracusa and also the lovely beaches.

Il Molino in Noto, Sicily. We absolutely loved this house. The entire house was bright and spacious, well equipped and very welcoming. The kitchen was huge and had all the equipment you could need to feel perfectly at home. The verandah was so perfect for relaxing and eating on and we couldnt have asked for a more beautiful setting.
We stayed in many different houses and apartments during a long 6 week holiday around Italy and France. We have just returned home and can easily say that Il Molino house in Noto was by far our favourite.
