The property is newly refurbished with three bedrooms, modern kitchen, dining area, spacial bathroom, entrance hallway, garden, garage and large lounge with panoramic views of the river and pretty lane on which the cottage is located. On the doorstep are country style pubs (within 30secs), traditional cafe (within stone throwing distance) and opposite the cottage is the beautiful Rivergreen area, where boats moor and visitors picnic.
The cottage is located on a private unadopted lane (with no through traffic). Located at the end of the lane is a dell.
The property itself is modern throughout but retains much charm and character throughout the three floors.
All amenities are on your doorstep, with easy access to the numerous attractions that Norfolk has to offer.

Norfolk has numerous attractions, including small pretty villages in beautiful countryside, numerous beaches, the Norfolk broads, museums, zoos, places of historical and religious interest to name but a few. Whittlingham outdoor centre where all water sports are available can be seen from the properties balcony, Whittlingham also has a dry ski slope.
The local market towns are attractive and vibrant. You will find interesting and exciting attractions in these unique and charming areas of Norfolk.
Norwich / Thorpe St. Andrew area
With picturesque river banks and charming hotels, guest houses, several restaurants and easy access to the historical city of Norwich, Thorpe St Andrew is also a popular town for tourists.
There are plenty of restaurants and takeaways in Thorpe St Andrew. The Rushcutters and The Rivergarden have riverside gardens and offer good food and real ales. The Buck opposite River Green is one of the oldest buildings in Thorpe St Andrew; it’s always busy and popular with both locals and visitors.
Visitors by boat are also well catered for; there are also two free 24 hour moorings on the River Yare. One known as Commissioners Cut on Whitlingham Lane - the other by the picturesque River Green on Yarmouth Road, regarded as the heart of Thorpe St. Andrew.
Thorpe St Andrew was mentioned in the Domesday Book as 'Torp', a Scandinavian word for 'village', however 'Thorp' is a Viking word for 'daughter settlement'.
How to get there
Rivergreen in Thorpe St. Andrew is located two miles to the east of Norwich. Norwich is connected via the A11/M11 to London and from the Midlands/ North via the A47.
Norwich Railway station is only two miles from the property.
There is a bus stop directly outside the lane on which the property sits, buses stop at the train station.
