We booked a four night stay to visit family in Taverham & Norwich so location of the barn was perfect for us. We also visited the coast around Happisburgh which was only a short drive away and visited Felbrigg Hall (NT) near Cromer. Unfortunately the weather was bitterley cold which prevented us from spending much time outdoors so we did not get the opportunity to walk around the village or to Norwich as we had planned. The barn was extremely warm & welcoming to go back to at the end of the day. Comfy bed upstairs and all mod cons in the kitchen. It was good to have a large screen tv which is rare in a rental property. There is a super outside area for those long hot evenings! The only moan (a bit petty really) would be the stable door. As we suffered high winds it would have made it easier if the top section was bolted to the lower door. Owners Tom & Rita have been great with communications from the booking through to when we left and in no way were they intrusive. |
