A little bit funky, a little bit rock and roll…

If you are looking for something different, look no further!

Second floor, one bedroom flat in Grade ll listed building with sitting room, designer kitchen and bathroom…

SLAP BANG in the HEART of Norwich, a fine city and UNESCO city of Literature.

The Art Pad is characterful and stylish!

Owned by an artist, it is filled with original artwork, contemporary and a little bit 70's retro.

After a night snuggled under the bestest, crispest, white bedding, in an oh so quiet bedroom, pull up the blinds to check the time on the city hall clock, look down on the walled garden, or watch the turtle doves fly back and forth, over the higgledy piggledy medieval roof tops.

Make your breakfast in the unique designer kitchen or head out for coffee and croissant in any number of delightful cafes on your doorstep.

Only minutes on foot from everywhere and anywhere! Great shopping and an abundance of sights to snap for Facebook or your albums.

So much to explore in what was for centuries England's second city.

As soon as you start walking, the castle is on your radar, of course you hit the bustling market first and you have to walk through the fabulous arts and crafts arcade, and you might get tempted to meander down some other medieval street on your way! Oh and lets not forget the Norman Cathedral and the rambling cobbled Elm Hill and, and, and…

There is lots to see and do night or day!

The East Anglia region

Norwich is only two hours by train from London, an hour from Cambridge and 45mins from the coast there is plenty to see further afield in the Norfolk countryside, villages and towns, but its great to make Norwich your base, and this apartment is right in the middle of Norwich!

Norfolk also boasts a unique set of waterways and lakes, known locally as the Norfolk Broads. It is great fun to hire a car, or get a local bus and explore the charming picturesque villages with their thatched roofs and huge historic churches, or rent a boat, pack a picnic and spend a day on the broads saying hello to the ducks and viewing the beautiful countryside.

Transport out and about is easy as there are trains, planes and automobiles within easy reach.

This gorgeous apartment is on the second floor of a Grade ll listed building, built in about 1750 in the heart of the historic and beautiful city of Norwich. This it is bursting at the seams with listed buildings and there are more than 70 medieval churches for you to explore.

The only form of transport you will require is your legs as you will be only minutes from absolutely EVERYTHING! Historic churches, two fabulous cathedrals, windy, cobbled, medieval streets and great shopping, restaurants and bars.

You will not be short of things to do and places to go.

Across the road is The Forum, which houses the Tourist Information Centre, which knows everything about everything in Norwich and out into Norfolk.

If you are here for work, the apartment is in easy walk of all businesses, and the UEA and Norfolk and Norwich Hospital are only 10-15 mins by bus. Norwich bus station and the train station are also within easy walking distance.

Norwich International Airport is approx 20 mins by taxi or bus.

"THE place to stay in Norwich. Look no further!"

Rosie's flat is central- 5 minutes walk from the famous market, and ideally placed for the theatre and all other amenities. It is bright and airy, catching the sun all day, it is beautifully and stylishly decorated, It is equipped with everything you could need for a short stay- you even get home-baked biscuits and wine in the fridge. There is a little walled garden at the back that you can use. Rosie is a warm friendly and helpful hostess. Once she has welcomed you in you can relax and just enjoy the ambience. There is a comprehensive pack to inform you of what is on offer in this 'fine city' if you choose to explore. Seriously; 'The Art Pad' (many of the art works on show are Rosie's own) must be THE place to stay for access to central Norwich.

Thankyou so much for your glowing review. I am glad you had a great time and felt so comfortable staying at The Art Pad and hope you come back again
