A well-equipped modern detached bungalow in a quiet area, just 1.5 miles from the centre of Norwich. Easy access by air, rail, bus and car from all parts of the country. Local store just 200yds away.

Ideal for visiting the many attractions in Norwich (Castle, Cathedral, Market, river). Just half a mile from Eaton Park with its model boating lake and pitch-and-putt course. Eaton Golf Club just half a mile away!

The East Anglia / Norfolk region

Norfolk is a restful county, yet not far from England's centres of population. There are plenty of activities in Norwich, ranging from historical to entertainment. The north Norfolk coast has many quiet if windswept beaches - further east are Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft for those who seek something more lively. Norfolk is one of the driest parts of the UK, which helps you to enjoy the unique atmosphere.

The Norwich area

Theatre Royal, Maddermarket Theatre, Cinema City, Castle and Cathedral dating from 11th century are all within a couple of miles of the property. There's a well-known open-air market. Centrally placed for easy access to the broads and many seaside places.

The next Norfolk and Norwich Festival will be held in May 2012, bringing some of the world's biggest names in jazz, classical music, comedy and dance for a time of artistic exploration & discovery.

When evening falls, don't stay in. Night time is the right time to discover the excitement that Norwich can offer to the young and young at heart.

“Great place to stay” Stayed here with my family for the bank holiday weekend.It was clean and had every amenity needed.It was a lovely homely place to come back to,we really enjoyed our stay and the owner was easy to contact when soting out the booking.

“outside good inside grubby, but comfortable” On arrival carpet was grubby & had numerous stains. both toilets needed cleaning, as did the oven. numerous dandy long leg spiders, & webs. All walls had interior cracks, & were in need of renovating.The beds were very comfortable, as were the 5 seater lounge suite, kitchen well suppled with utensils, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dryer all good. Small garden well managed, a delight to be in, pond weed covered, no signs of fish.

“Good place to stay” Booked Upton Close for a week over Christmas and were not disappointed. Whilst quite dated the property has lots of room, a very friendly feel and is well situated for easy access to the city centre and surrounding areas. The owner is approachable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. We chose to take our own bedding, towels etc but the house is well equipped for those who prefer to travel light. All in all an excellent week and we would happily return.
