The East Anglia region

Norwich is a cosmopolitan, buzzing and beautiful city with over 1500 historical buildings, an exciting arts scene, wonderful outdoor activities, top shopping and delicious local produce food and drink. Norwich offers a rare blend of historic interest and modern sophistication which will exceed the expectations of any visitor. With its close proximity to London and its historical and cultural offer it is the ideal destination for families, individuals or couples.

The Norfolk Broads is one of the most popular inland waterways in Europe and provides the perfect setting for a holiday, short break or a day trip. The Norfolk Broads is also Britain's largest protected wetland with status equivalent to a National Park. The beautiful, wild expanse of 200km of lock-free navigable rivers, shallow lakes, woodland, fens and grazing marshes, is home to some of the rarest plants and wildlife in the UK to the Swallowtail butterfly to the reclusive bittern.

Norwich

Frettenham is a small peaceful village, situated about 6 miles north of Norwich city. Five minutes from Coltishall and 15 minutes to Wroxham, heart of the broads. Also just a short journey to the coast, ideally located for exploring all that the region has to offer, especially North Norfolk.

There is something for everyone, with museums, golf, fishing, shopping, theatre and country walks to name but a few. There are many fine local country pubs, offering excellent food, and we would be pleased to share our knowledge of the area, and recommend places of interest to our guests.
