Stayed for a week in November to visit our daughter who lives nearby, so we knew many of the facilities on site would be closed. Heron Lodge was a very pleasant surprise. A lovely location on the waters edge and parking for 2 cars (if needed). The accommodation was spacious, beautifully furnished, clean and fully equipped. Central heating was perfect and plenty of hot water. We arrived late on Sunday evening and the owner had left a welcome pack, so we had everything we needed. There is a good selection of books and DVD's. The weather was sunny, but cool and we were able to sit on the deck and watch the wildlife, very peaceful. We are already planning our next visit...Highly recommended accommodation. Response: Thank you very much for taking the time to review Heron Lodge. Thank you also for the great comments and we look forward to welcoming you back. Best wishes Ruth and Paul |

we had a wonderful stay at Heron Lodge. The lodge was excellent, very clean and well looked after, we felt like we were the first people to ever stay there! We used the lodge for our trip to Silverstone Moto GP, so we did not not use the facilities at Billing Aquadrome. However, what we saw of the park, it looked like it catered for families with various activities available. I would highly recommend a stay a Heron Lodge and we hope to go back ourselves in the future! Response: Thank you for the great comments. We hope you come back and visit again. Best wishes Ruth and Paul |
