"Excellent hosts,excellent cottage"

Over the past few years we have rented at least 12 cottages and we keep a wee book and rate them. This cottage came second in our wee book of rating cottages we have stayed at ,the hosts Wendy and David were really helpful and made us feel very welcome, nice little touches on arrival. The cottage itself was very comfortable and the bed was probably the best one we have slept in including our own, you definitlely need a car as the wee village although it was nice didn't have much going for it, also the weather wasn't great but cant blame that on anyone, the two days we went to York and Whitby were nice so cant complain too much ,but we did enjoy our holiday despite the weather Bill and Deb

Thank you for your kind review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay.

"Fabulous"

This is a perfect self catering holiday home with everything just right. The accomodation is superb and complete with all the items you would ever need. A lovely comfortable bed (or beds according to your needs) in a fine spacious bedroom and a nicely furnished conservatory added greatly to our stay.We could not have wished for nicer kindly and friendly people than the owners Wendy and Dave.Nothing was too much trouble for them.Enjoyed our stay immensely.Take my advice and book it while you can.

Thank you for a lovely review, it was a pleasure having you as guests.

"Perfect Holiday"

Just returned from a weeks stay in Ardenia.
We were given a warm welcome by the owners.
The cottage was clean, spacious and decorated to a high standard.
The owners had thought of everything you could require for a perfect holiday.
The location of Ardenia was excellent although there were 3 pubs/restaurants within walking distance and a local shop, the cottage was situated in a very peaceful and relaxing location.
Outwith the area, the towns of Northallerton and Richmond were both approx.30minutes drive away with good shopping, restaurants, pubs and local markets.
We would definitely recommend this holiday property and we hope to return in the Autumn.

Thank you for a lovely review. It was a pleasure having you as our first guests.
