Colindale is an area in the London Borough of Barnet, although its main shopping street is in the London Borough of Brent on its western side. It is a suburban development, situated 8 miles (12.9 km) north west of Charing Cross.
It is a lively vibrant area very accessible to Central London via direct buses to Marble Arch and 2 Northern Line tube stations (Colindale and Hendon Central) as well as buses to other nearby tube stations (Wembley Park) and the Hendon mainline station. It is about a 30 min tube ride to Oxford St and you will be in Kings Cross in 15 mins via the Hendon Thameslink.
The area is replete with local shopping, being very close to the popular Brent Cross Shopping Centre as well as Edgware Broadway.
