The South East England / London region
Hampstead Garden Suburb was created over a hundred years ago as a haven for workers from London to live in. Renowned architects were brought in to design the layout and the houses of the area. It is now a conservation area under the watchful eye of The Trust. Concerts are held regularly held at the nearby church hall on the Square.
Hampstead has long been an area of outstanding beauty and loved by many artists, writers and recently by celebrities from TV and film as well as many politicians.
The North-West London area
Golders Hill Park with its small zoo and attractive restaurant, with live music in the Summer is a popular attraction for local people. Hampstead Heath only minutes away from the house for a morning stroll or for more energetic walkers there are the vast acres of Hampstead Heath itself. Kenwood House is a magnificent house and garden with glorious paintings bequeathed to the Nation and has delicious food served in its special restaurant and garden and outdoor concerts in the Summer months.
Brent Cross Shopping Centre is virtually on the doorstep with its exclusive, fashionable shops and stores.
There are many places of worship in the area, all within walking distance.
