The house was built in 1990 on the site of a croft house and has been designed for comfort and ease of use for holidays. There are two bedrooms, each with two single beds, with a further fifth bed available. The couch in the living room/ kitchen also converts into a comfortable double bed. The house has recently been refurbished with new beds and flooring. Electricity and all bed linen and towels are provided. It is heated by storage and panel heaters. There is also an open fire.

They have a unique language-- Gaelic-- and culture as well as spectacular hill, moorland and beaches. You can rely on a warm welcome.

North Uist

There is an outdoor centre providing sea kayaking/ abseiling/ diving and trips to St Kilda nearby

The Arts centre in Lochmaddy has a cafe, book and giftshop, galleries and performing space

RSPB have a nature reserve on the island

It's common to see porpoises and basking sharks on teh ferry jourrney from Skye-- an unforgettabel start to a holiday!
