Cromwell Road NORTH BERWICK

This ground floor luxury apartment, which is part of a large Edwardian mansion house has the most enviable, uninterrupted views over the Firth of Forth, its islands and the West Links Golf Course.

Cromwell Rd has a magnificent drawing room with high ceilings and huge bay windows, which overlook the pretty garden and West Links. The grandeur of this room is difficult to describe with its fire place, solid oak floors and wood panelled walls. There is stylish contemporary dining table with seating for 8 people in this very spacious room.

Extensive manicured gardens lead through a gate directly onto the West Links and the beach. There is a raised patio ideal for summer barbeques and watching the sun setting across the water beyond the island of Fidra and the Paps of Fife. There is summer house/shed where you will find cushions for the garden furniture together with a Webber BBQ for outside entertaining.

Once famously known as "The Biarritz of the North", it has more recently been described as "Scotland's Riviera" in a recent Sunday Times article on places to visit in the UK. It has so much to offer tourists of the area, not least its magical sandy beaches, rocky coastline with picturesque islands close to the shore and of course the pretty, thriving town of North Berwick itself. It has been a famous self catering holiday destination across the generations.

"A beautiful home with a view to die for...."

Janice and Barry couldn't have been more helpful during our stay at Cromwell Road and the house is beautifully furnished and equipped.... Truly a "home from home." A delight to stay in. Perfect for golfers, bird watching and walkers, or even just sitting and soaking up the view..... The beautiful East Lothian coastline is a delight to see and Cromwell Road a wonderful home to return to.
