The apartment block sits on high ground overlooking North Berwick. This particular property has a lovely view over the town beach and harbour from the sitting room and kitchen.

It is furnished to a high standard throughout and we provide everything you might need in your holiday home so you can get on with enjoying your holiday.
The location is ideal. You can be on the beach or in the town centre within minutes, and the golf course is no more than 300 yards from your front door. The railway station is right across the road and a regular rail service provides access to Edinburgh in just 33 minutes.
This is a great holiday home for families or golfers, with plenty in the local area to see and do during your stay.

Five people can be comfortably accommodated in one double bedroom (with en-suite), one twin and one single.
As well as fresh bedlinen, we provide towels, toileteries and kitchen detergents. We always make sure there's tea and coffee in the kitchen, and a pint of milk in the fridge in case you need a quick cuppa after your journey. We'll even be here to welcome you on arrival !
A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request, however guests are required to provide their own bedding (including mattress) for the travel cot.
The apartment is furnished and equipped to a high standard. Smoking is not permitted. Sorry, no pets.

The private parking space is in a car park only used by residents of the apartment block. The car park is to the rear of the building and your key provides access.
The apartment is on the first floor and all windows have safety catches. Parents with very young children should note there is a balcony and safety is therefore an issue. It is a condition of booking that the client is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of all those on the premises during any visit. Subject to this constraint the apartment is a great location for families.
The East Lothian region
East Lothian is the sunniest and the driest area of Scotland, and the mild climate in this sheltered corner of the country makes it a popular year-round holiday destination.
The coastline is punctuated with places of interest, including castles at Tantallon and Dirleton dating back to the 13th century. The area's many other attractions include beaches, historic homes and ancient monuments, good walking and cycling routes, and the best collection of golf courses to be found anywhere.
For those who like exploring our past, the Iron Age sites at Chester's Hill Fort and Traprain Law are worth a visit, and the county's interior is dotted with delightful villages where you can stop for refreshment at the many pubs and coffee shops.
The Bass Rock, 2 km offshore, is home to one of the world's largest gannet colonies and dominates the sea view from North Berwick, whilst Aberlady Bay (the UK's first local nature reserve) hosts thousands of migrating birds each autumn.
Edinburgh is just half an hour away by train. Scotland's capital city offers many attractions, but is at it's busiest for three weeks every August during the Edinburgh International Festival.
North Berwick is a thriving coastal town with a long and colourful history. The growth of the 'Royal Burgh' is closely linked to the establishment of the railway line in the late 19th century, a time when North Berwick was a fashionable destination for the well to do in society, and became known as the 'Biarritz of the north'.
These days the town is home to a population of around 7,000 and is one of six main towns in East Lothian. Local infrastructure includes a high school, sports centre and swimming pool, health centre, shops, banks, pubs, restaurants, etc. There are golf, rugby, sailing and tennis clubs, and many other tourist attractions. Excellent transport links mean Edinburgh is easily accessible by road or rail.
Local attractions include Tantallon and Dirleton Castles, the Museum of Flight, Glenkinchie Disitillery, and the Scottish Seabird Centre. Boat trips to the Bass Rock and other islands are available from the old harbour in summer months.
At the heart of Edinburgh's golf coast, North Berwick is home to the West Links, the oldest piece of golfing land outside St Andrews and one of the finest courses to be found anywhere. Muirfield, Gullane, Dunbar, and the new courses at Archerfield and Renaissance are all just a short drive away.
For those who simply want to relax and unwind, there are miles of beautiful sandy beaches, good places to walk or cycle, and friendly pubs and restaurants.

"Lovely apartment with a great view"
Very comfortable and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Torquil is very helpful and easy to deal with. I am sure we will be back to stay here again in the future.

"Very comfortable and clean with lovely views"
Very nice apartment, comfortable, clean with all necessary amenities.
Close to town centre and golf course with lovely views over the town and sea.
Only slight moan is that the main bedroom could do with a shower. One shower for 4 occupants is not enough.
Otherwise the apartment is excellant and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

"Lovely apartment, sea views and great convenient location"
Literally a short stroll from the train station with regular trains to Edinburgh, this apartment was perfect for our Christmas shopping trip. A day return to Edinburgh then a day in lovely North Berwick, coffee shops, craft /gift shops and lovely restaurants, finished off with a walk along the beach and across the golf course back to the apartment....really enjoyable!
Yes being so close to the station this apartment is ideal for day trips into Edinburgh. So glad you enjoyed your visit and I hope you found the local restaurant recommendations useful too.

"Really enjoyed ourselves and hope to return."
Great location able to walk to everything that we needed. View could only be bettered if we'd been on a higher floor. Had its own parking place which is a real plus in North Berwick. Make sure you understand how the lift operates.
Thanks for taking the time to write a review. It's always useful to hear what's good and also where we can make improvements. We've now replaced the locks to both the front door and patio doors (which were fiddly).

This apartment is very well-positioned, opposite the railway station and within easy walking distance of the town centre. It's very comfortable and well-equipped, and has a balcony with a great view over the town and out to sea. We spent Easter weekend here as a short break, and it was perfect for our purposes, we really enjoyed our stay.
