Nogaro, Gers, Holiday Cottage with swimming pool (sleeps 6) and separate Manor House B&B
Peace and tranquility, restored beamed Cottage in 5 acres of secluded grounds of a magnificent French Manor House, a former vineyard surrounded by vines with 12mX5m pool. In a small hamlet approx 5kms from Nogaro. Fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge diner with T.V. terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Situated in a quiet hamlet at the end of a long private drive, it is a safe enviroment for children. On the site of a former Napoleonic chateau with magnificent old trees and beautiful barns containing old wine vats. The Cottage has its own large lawn area great for children to play or for sunbathing . There are magnificent views of surrounding vineyards and beautiful countryside beyond. Shops and restaurants within 6km. British owners live discretely on site and maintain high standards. Easily accessible are Pyrenees Mountains and lovely Atlantic beaches.

Nogaro / Sion area

The Gers region lies south of Bordeaux east of 200K stretch of white sandy Atlantic beaches
and north of the Pyrenees. Its an area full of splendour , chateaux, bastides, rolling hills sunflowers and vinyards. The birthplace of Armagnac equal in character to the best of Cognacs.
Its famous cuisine includes foie gras, confit de canard and magret de canard.
Mant people move here to escape to a calm less stressful less "must have"way of life.
The Gers has mild early springs, long languorous summers which continue into October. this relativly dry climate is ideal for al-fresco dining.

Fly Stanstead to Biaritz, Stanstead to Pau, Bristol to Pau or Toulouse,Gatwick or Heathrow to Toulouse or Bordeaux
Drive via Euro tunnel
Take the Ferry Portsmouth to St Malo, Santander , Caen or any other ferry crossing to France and drive.

.The property is down a long private drive in a small hamlet surrounded by grapevines 5 kms from NOGARO in the Gers. Previously known as Gascony, its an ideal country location with stunning scennery. You can walk miles without meeting traffic on quiet country lanes. Eat outside at the many country restaurants where children are always welcome. Very accessible are the Pyrenees mountains that you can visit by car on a day trip basis or surf on the Beautiful Atlantic beaches. Alternativly drive 5kms to one of the many swimming lakes with sandy beaches or just make yourself comfortable on your sunlounger by the imaculate pool.
Fly to Pau, Biaritz, Toulouse, oe Bordeaux or take the over night ferry to St Malo or any of the other ferry ports.

Summer Rental Rates include bed linen, towels, tea towels, electric and gas. Winter rates include bed linen, towels, tea towels, A small supplement is charged for any extra heating required. A deposit of 40% is payable on booking, the balance due 6 weeks before arrival. A returnable security damage deposit of £200 is required with the balance or 300 euros cash paid on arrival. This is to cover any damage to the property, pool, house or contents. Special rates available for long term winter lets.
